TBH I was more than ok with the amount of comedy in the 1st release and didn't feel the need for more of it. But then again I'm not really a fan of comedies in the 1st place and I find too many jokes to lessen or even kill the (erotic) tension for me.This one is a good point, and it was a tough balancing act for the first chapter. Even though it's overall going to be a comedy (I hope!), the first chapter has to establish the world and a murder. I put in humor where I could, but there had to be a good bit of exposition and a death... And I don't want the actual *death* to be a joke (I know, I'm a softy).
The coming chapters will be able to ease up quite a bit! One example I give for my tone is my favourite movie - Clue. The first part seems mostly serious and played straight, with a few chuckle bits as the scenario is established... But it becomes very clearly comedic once the set pieces are in place.
BTW I did replay the game to see if anything changes depending on player's noticing B in 'choose your gender' screen Didn't notice any changes though but I like B even more now that I've played the game twice.
