A few things here, I find the argument of 'let the player play how they want' kind of silly. In a game of solitaire, you can't just open the deck and pick a card to put on a pile. Why not? Why not players do what they want? If you let players do whatever they want, it removes the challenge and gameness of a game. Games are defined by rules, just letting players remove they rules if they want is a bad idea.

I think the disconnect is that you are trying to make a game that has porn in it while some people just want a porn game and to see only all the porn part and doesn't really care about the game part.

Yeah, there's still a jump right before the scene starts that prevents you from seeing it. It's there, but the game won't let you see it.

On another note, I'm going to try something for the next update (the bug fix tomorrow). It's a seasonal checkpoint system. So instead of starting a whole new run, you can instead jump back to the start of Summer, Fall, etc. and have the Princess's decisions reset. This comes with some restrictions, it still has to delete your manual saves for example, but it should make trying to accomplish specific tasks a lot easier.

Came back to the game for the first time since 3.5 and sadly I'm running in to this as well. Came here to report it but it looks like you're on it already. Kinda saddens me that it's the "best run" I've had of the game thus far, but I guess shit happens ^^

Just wondering, is this bug avoidable if I don't accept Cecily or is the event bound to something else? Just want to see the last two weeks, basically.

It's unavoidable. I'm going to upload a patch after the 49ers game is over so just wait a few hours, although the fix won't be compatible with old saves because it had to do with how an array was initialized. You can also just press "ignore" at the error prompt to keep going.

Thanks for the reports. That Adelin missing image has me a little stumped because brother/avatar2 is not what that image is called, and isn't anywhere in the brother image code as far as I can tell. I'm I'll find it though.

So I just played this for the first time, and I have to say - I love it. There's a real feeling of accomplishment in gaining enough favor while trying to decide what you can give up.

I have to say, though, that if it weren't for the checkpoint system that I notice was just added... I'd probably be silently screaming after carelessly botching something. It's a real lifesaver. If I might make a suggestion, however; maybe Evette's first naked lesson should be moved to after the checkpoint? As it stands, that event decides who's going to be the dominant partner in their relationship; it seems a bit more consequential than the rest of the checks, which just change affection or favor. If memory serves, it should only change things by one week.

Also, it might be nice to add a checkpoint at the very start. I realize that sounds superfluous, but there were a few times (okay, maybe more than a few times) where I thought that the meeting lineup looked perfect, only for me to make a careless math error that lead me to restart, and left me kind of disappointed to have wasted such an opportunity.

Kinda, I believe the princess is canonically bisexual so if you play your game with high lust cards she might occasionally flirt with men in some random events, but for the main relationships I believe that you can safely chase after lesbian relationships alone if that's what you want to do. Don't know if that will hold until the end of the story since the princess is probably expected to make heirs at some point, but I can't say much since the game isn't finished yet.

Tried today for the first time and I'm genuinely surprised at how cool this is. I wish more porn games would be games that have lots of sex and erotic stuff and not just excuses to unlock more nudity.

Bonus points for the soundtrack, some tracks are really great!

The problem with some kind of content/fetish filter is that the stuff that would be filtered are random events, as otherwise you can curate what you went pretty easily by having specific trainers/going after specific characters. And the random events have mechanical consequences. So it could lead to scenarios where playing with the "no men" filter is optimal because it leads to some positive outcome being more likely.

It's not something I would want to do for something as widespread and pervasive in the game as male+female content. While I appreciate there are people who would enjoy the game more as solely a female+female kind of thing, the attention the Princess gets from men is baked into the story. Just removing those scenes would be pretty problematic. Does Ulric just not exist anymore? If I decided to put in something that a large people don't like, which I have with the futa stuff which I intentionally quarantined to one tutor, maybe some sort of skipping over it feature could be used. Like for one vore scene or something.

On a different note, I'm going over all the old sexy art and redoing a lot of it. Here's an example.

So that's something that will rollout over the next few updates.
