There is just a lot of negativity in the internet, and people hide behind the anonymity. Rotajony, you have to admit to understand, most people are failed to launch, and are easily manipulated by a mainstream media. I am a doctor, and I am a millionaire in my 30s because I joined a start-up. My life is great as I create covid vaccine and cure to save thousands. Most people don't make the correct life choices and end up being losers who just complain. I respect honey games, and I think he is like an artist, author and others who are creating something people can enjoy. Most people cannot accomplish anything in life and just want to tear anther down because they are wonton fappers. I am glad my team and I worked hard to save these "losers" lives.
So we shouldn't have an individual opinion about anything, and should only have the same mindset as you do.
Luckily we have freedom of speech in this country!

And maybe you're just 1 child of 18 sitting in his attic room

He abandoned it?... shame. Loved this game
Hi guys, not been on this threat in a long while.

First of, I'm not speaking on behalf of HG.

I have not spoken to him in a while.
I seriously doubt that HG would abandon this game. He has put in a LOT of effort into this game so far. I have also had a very rough year behind me and have also taken a loooong time to complete my conversion of Sexduction to Renpy as fans of that game will know.

I have helped HG in the past with the stats screen, but as the new version is still in progress I have not been needing to update it recently, and therefore did not chat to him for a while.

Now that things have calmed down a bit in my life, I will reach out to HG again, to find out how he's going. I'm pretty sure he is experiencing a bit of burnout (He has been developing games no-stop since 2016) and is just busy recharging his batteries a bit.

all his games are abandoned and the stories unfinished , either main or secondary.
since he was on unity.
which is sad since he has built a game universe and lore.
he just pushes and pushes: features and characters until it is to much to handle for a single dude and than colapses and moves to another project
he needs some quiet mules to help the workload but he refuses it ;)

basically the dev says - i do it for fun, sponsor me if you want / like it, if you don't who cares / blow me
there is no direct relation between work delivered and money earned
very artistically orientated individual
impressive he didn't abandon the work yet
guess will follow you for as long as we can stomach it
I don't know if you posted this as a negative or a positive, but this is how I feel about Patreon developers in general (And one day, if I get enough courage to start my own game, how I will feel about it myself.)

I see Patreon as a way to support a developer that you like, not as a transaction like buying a normal game.
You don't buy a game, the developers time, a finished product... or anything.

If your think about it rationally, You can by the best game in the world for $60. So most Patreon supported are spending way more then the game's worth on the dev. (So technically a loss for the supporters)
The flipside is that a developer can earn $4000 - $10000 per month working a normal job with very little stress. (So PAtreon is also a loss for most developers)

You are basically supporting a artist that you like that you want to see continue working on something you love. Like throwing a buck to a street musician. He does not owe you anything and you also don't owe him anything.

You're sentiment reflects 100% my own and I wish posters on here will see it the same. (I view your post as a positive)

Obviously if you start making $5000 per month etc. I do feel that some obligations are rightfully expected from the dev in terms of timelines etc.

MMhh, fine...so I was patron of dev for a long time but after a while of no progress on the game (remember I was funding the Project) and nothing but delays and remasters I just quit. It is up to you but i gave up. If you want to remaster a game how about finishing the game first, all goty and remaster aaa games do it after the game is done, dev did finish a few games so i don't see this going abandoned but if I employed someone to do a job and in the middle of it he goes "...I don't like it, I'm starting again" I fire the person. My trust is broken I won't patron him ever again; you can if you want it is up to your personal choice. I do wish him good luck.

There's another game that I really like to play (Become a Rock Star) that hasn't been updated in the last 7 months, but there, people don't complain so much like here...
it's totally inappropriate to compare bars and ncc. fans of bars are waiting for final update with lot of endings, and possible epilogue. so, it's quite normal for final update to be more time consuming than ordinary updates. bars will be finished (completed), i'm not so sure about ncc.

You are right in this.
Hello guys. I respect all your opinions... I really like this game... I consider it the best of all the adult games I've played, due to the many variables in the game... But, I think some of you are exaggerating... There's another game that I really like to play (Become a Rock Star) that hasn't been updated in the last 7 months, but there, people don't complain so much like here... So, those who want to, wait, if you don't want to... be happy playing another game and stop fucking complaining...
What is your problem,
slept badly ?

My personal guess is that it's getting too difficult for HG with every update. Storylines and connections become more complicated from update to update. I strongly suspect that it's too much work for Honey Games or that he's just overwhelmed with it. Maybe he should really get help from a more experienced developer. Doing one remake after another isn't a solution either. Apart from that I haven't seen anything about a new remake although it's been talked about for months.

I totally disagree with you pal! New coral has the most complicated storyline ever with hundred of gameplay paths FROM THE FIRST DAY OF THE GAME! I talk from myself and I will never compare new coral with any game on the story side! new coral is always on top in my opinion ! personally, I like reworked versions of the game because if there is a weak spot in the game it's renderings of some scenes. I hope HoneyGames continue this masterpiece

Alsjeblieft, wordt wakker this is 2022. NCC is from 2019!

have you looked into scripts, variables, available paths, characters, etc...?
it might not be "the most complicated storyline ever" yet hardly there are few, if any, comparable porn games to match it.
and just dont say but, but...b..badik, or any other similarly "complex" game...those are just toddlers KNs compared to this one.
if you dont see it, well, that is a problem on your side, and that hardly can be helped here.

People who don't understand that this game is complex are looking at "most complicated storyline" from a narrative perspective and not in terms of game design. That said, I really don't think BaDik is a good example of your point as it is likely also one of the most complex games on here.

Personally, I think the complexity of the game is only half of the problem. The other half is definitely not helped by the entitled whining of freeloaders. If you are a patron and want to complain or stop paying because of the lack of updates, that's 100% valid. But a lot of the people who just talk shit about devs who don't give them their free fap material don't realize they themselves are part of the reason why those devs abandon projects.

well, i took badik, as arguably one of the most complex porn games/vns around, as an example,...and though i exaggerated a bit there, in my opinion, and in regards to the above mentioned points, even badik isnt as complex as this one.

on the second part we mostly agree. usually it has contra effect, particularly for the newbie devs and those with low support, when they are bombed constantly with "standardized" complains, impatience, negativity etc...ofc notorious milkers are exception.

It's clear to me that you're defending something
I'm not mad at you but your story is wrong
At the end of the day, if you aren't paying him then you have no right to demand anything from him. If you are, and you think he's not holding up his end, then stop paying him. Simple as that. All the negativity from people not paying the man a dime is stupid and counterproductive to ever seeing the game get finished, which is what we all want. It's super easy to imagine a scenario where a dev struggles to make progress and because updates are slow, all he gets is negativity online and that discourages him from wanting to work on the game because it just becomes too stressful. No one wins there, because anyone with half a brain is going to stop paying if there are no updates, and the game just dies. By all means, don't financially support the project until it is finished or regularly updating, but if you want to see the game live on and ever get new updates just stfu about how angry you are that you have to jerk off to something else.

it is not about game complexity, or quality of the story. did you forget ? you talked about fans' patience between updates. but what patience means when there's no communication with the dev. he simply disappeared, for the second time.

ncc is truly unique in terms of complexity, but that's one of the reasons why it won't be completed, at least not by hg alone, and certainly not how he wanted.
