I wrote about the status tag, that the game is technically not abandoned because the developer is "active" on Discord and he's working (slowly) at the game with the help of other people, so it could be more like "on hold" but not abandoned. That's all. The problem you tell is with his patreons that receive no communications and no content, but I don't understand this constant complaining in so many threads (many games are updated slowly) coming from people that pretend to receive a service they haven't paid for, and protest about that. I'm fully fine with piracy, warez, cracking, I never paid to watch a film on stream and so on. But at least I don't complain if a software I haven't paid for, gets no updates for lack of resources. I look for an alternative and that's it. If it's very important to me and I can afford it, I pay for it (almost never happened, I usually use free software for work).
Probably you are an alpha Super Army Soldier Superman that despite the massive daily workload has also plenty of time to fully satisfy his harem of beautiful Russian models and saving babies from burning buildings.
But most people are exhausted when they end their regular job and they have to manage other things like going shopping, fitness, home cleaning, family and so on. That's why many developers have hard time putting up updates regularly when it's not their daily job. This game is also much complicated regarding the plot so it's not just a matter of creating CGI images.That's fine and it seems to me the most correct approach, and I also think we all agree that HG is lacking in the communication aspect. But if his (very very few) Patreons are fine with that, what can we do about it? I just offered him my help because I can code and I often looked at the source of NCC, I don't really see the purpose of complaining about the service to paying customers in a pirate forum.
Kirsten? Really now? That was the most uninteresting, boring and superfluous woman in the game. Add to that all this BDSM shit and she was (in my opinion) the most unattractive woman out there.

I was a super fan of this game for years and I also played " The Follower" that is better in my opinion.
I have posted a lot of time ago in discord that the fact that Kirsten (the ex-girlfriend of the MC in the Episde 1) was relegated to a secondary character would have caused loss of interest in the story to the overwhelming majority of supporters.
...often in the threads there are conflicting opinions but the fact that supporters have decreased in his patreon page shows that the opinions that seem to be the most appreciated are not always the right ones.
The Follower was a great game!

I'm a bit confused
this S2 v02 was sipposed to be a continuation of the season 1
I have NCC 1.55 and I have downloaded this new release but
the content inside this new release are the same as Season 1 with less content and a lot of missing characters.
Seems to me that S2 is the third remake of the same story and... There is an error in the OP if you download the file in the Season 1
This is not the season 1 as you can see
as you can see the season 2 was abandoned at 1.55 than there was a new attempt to remake the SAME SEASON 2... This game started in wrong way because the 1.55 was a REMAKE of another S2
the Only Season 1 (prequel is THE FOLLOWER... and in my opinion adding too much characters was a very bad idea... Honeygames in the change log talk about complexity soo much
I would suggest to the developer to create simpler stories perhaps make a new game focused in his relationship focused in his ex-girlfriends Kristen, Andrea and creat 4 or more side stories related to his work at the magazine... when required the side stories can invade his relationship of course but the main thing is to write a story with passion...
Tony (the MC) has no more passion. This is the main problem and every day is disconnected from the previous one
I personally believe that the story is valid but it would be good to divide them into 3 or even four different games that would be much more successful than this repetitive mass of events without logic
The Follower is very well written with passion and the correct ammount of sadism that make the MC a dominant ALFA MALE!
IN THIS season 2 the MC is just a looser because there are too much famale characters
I understand a photographer has a lot of models... but this can be solved creating side stories dedicated to the models if the girl can improve the powerfull of the MC...
The protagonist must be the winner OF THE STORY at the end... but with such tons of powerful females the only way for him is to be a looser. He want fuck all the girls but this is impossible! so
STAY FOCUSED ON 3/4 GIRLS is the only way.
Simple stories are always the eeasyest to be wrtitten for the dev and easy to play for the players

This is one from two of semi abandoned projects which I checking from time to time. Still I feel that this game have a better chance to be finished than that second one because the second one is Ecchi Sensei
This project have so much of potential and I really want to play more in that universe.
Being a pro photographer is nice, many branches and meaningful choices, cool characters and what is important great MC who isn't dumb.
Only one thing bothers me. That dude who is supposedly our best friend. He is dumb as fuck and I'm his bro just because. I'm nice to him but game kinda forced me to do it coz I don't wanna be a jackass to a friend(?) and a rommate who is maybe a dumb but not evil. Dev should think about rewrite this character or flesh him out to show us who and why he really is or give us a chance to change or cut our relations.
I just don't know how the fuck he is MC's best friend in the first place.
