How many rounds are battles supposed to go? I skipped battles since I just wanted to see the sexy scenes but now when I play them to try to get glory they go on forever. Like 20 plus rounds and I just run out of resources. Is this a bug from skipping them?

I'm not really up to speed as I'm waiting for it to be finished to jump in again. But back when I last played it it was fairly easy to built a deck where you could go infinite. Then I would farm resources and put the glory where I wanted and subsequently use the cheat to bypass the battle and enjoy the content.

A battle ends when one of you runs out of influence. In the early game, when you know you'll lose, you will want to get it over with as quickly as possible to prevent her stacking up work/glory; in the mid-to-late game, when you're dominating, you may want to drag a battle out to build up your own glory more.

man this game is hard or I'm just not that smart on playing it
The mac version isn't working. Is there any way to fix it? Whenever I open it, it says it can't be opened
I once asked this question RE: another deck building game. The answer they gave me was "if it doesn't draw cards, it doesn't belong in your deck."
That said, i can't get anywhere in this game, even with cheats.
Your goal at first is basically to lose as quickly as possible while limiting her work/glory gain. You cannot win until at least the mid-game. Even with cheats you have no possibility to win until you've gone pretty far through her storyline to weaken her cards.
Essentially u have to end quickly the most of the games, avoiding her to rise her work/glory. That means: ignore the influence cards of her and yours for the most part of the game.
You have to end quickly the matches, and invest on work cards that will get you a reward by the end of each match (i usually prefer do convert in energy to visit places), and try to get blackmail points. With black mail points you VISIT your opponent and use them to break her, loqering the power of her card. I highly reccomend breaking her mental first, because it will give you access to her daughter, which is a card you MUST lower, because it can't be neutralized during a match and it is pretty powerful.
