Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but, I can never nuts to any modded-souls game ever.

Not that I tried any mod myself but I only knew that there're nude mods exists.
And just seeing nude or naked people didn't really turn me on at all, my standards are just wildly twisted, I guess.

people hyped for the release of this game but for me its gonna be disappointing
when i first played the game years ago there wasnt much content
but now it isnt THAT much better but theres certainly new stuff
rushing the release is only gonna make it worse

The only reason for being not hyped for this game would be either not liking rape fetish, or not being into side-scrollers.
I seriously can't understand any other reason, since the latest public version already had enough content to play (and I mean actual "play through the game" content, not just sex animations) for around 1-2 hour if you take your time and had a very distinct style to it, both in art style and gameplay. Hell, this game is literally 2d Dark Souls with porn.

What I afraid the most is that he doesn't include much new animation but just GO-CG which can count toward what is left of 0.46 version til 1.0.

But can't really blame anyone but myself here, I should've waited for full release when beta contents were still low and reserve my excitement, maybe I should be more reserved and ignorant next time so I'm not bloated with too much beta test.

Maybe instead of speculating take a chill pill, wait for the release and then either cry or love it. Speaking about it being potentially rushed or not cannot be said without playing the actual game first.

D-Lis is probably just so ready to get this thing out finally, it's been a long time and he's done sooooo much alone. It's pretty amazing. It's clearly his Magnum Opus and I doubt he feels that the release is rushed. I'm sure he will add updates also if sales are good but we'll see.

I've noticed some trends from JPdev that they tend to keep updating their game even after the full release.

Update, as in, not bug fixes or readjust stuff, but additional content and not a full DLC, just keep adding stuff here and there.

It may vary from dev to dev but if D-lis feel unsatisfied with his release he might just keep adding stuff afterward.

Actually, now that we talked about this, I remembered that D-lis update his Bullet Requiem post-release to add one more stage. Maybe this game might have those unless his plans are already realized.

I mean, he could have instantly moved on to the next project right off, or maybe retire/rest afterward too.

I do hope he continues this career tho, we severely lack the talents like him who can actually get shit done and high quality at that.

I agree with you on high quality gameplay. The effort put into this kind of game is worth investing in. If there was a tip jar when making a purchase I'd add an extra 50% just because of this quality.
