I never really got the fem protag game made for men-- why have one generic girl design get fucked by a bunch of well-designed male enemies, when you could have one generic guy design fuck a bunch of well-designed lady enemies?

It's a very different experience, for reasons that make it more emersive: the feel of "power" over whether you control her responsibly by avoiding rape or get a bit naughty and give in to the corrupting bliss by intentionally getting hit, or subtly resisting less when already grapped, creating a feel of scenario plot and progression, where as fucking multiple lady enemies, you fuck one, and don't care about her once you fuck the next. It's like - *I don't care how much a guy fucks, I like to see how much the girl is fucked* basically.
It's also similar to how different femalePOV feel from regular porn, making it fresh, especially when you're so tired of regular modern porn, that you almost don't get hard unless you didn't jerk off for a week.

Finally someone put it into words, pretty much reiterating what you just wrote but I really like that control you have over the content. With a male protag it's obvious you'll want to fuck everything and that's it. There's also the fact that every girl will be similar, just a difference on body type and sex position. With a game like this in which you plenty of enemy types to choose from makes it more interesting. Will she get raped by the imposing minotaur that is sure to give her a pounding? Or will she be covered on slime?
And choosing how to play makes it more appealing, you can sort of roleplay your main character, is she clumsy? naive? overconfident? will she get raped because of it? Or maybe she'll stay a virgin and only get her clothes ripped.
With a male protag you pretty much have to rape everything you come across. It wouldn't make sense for the rapey orc to do a no rape run.

In the first area you find a bound girl and you need an old padlock key to free her, has anyone found it?
In the top left corner the ui offers a red flask for refilling HP and a blue on for refilling MP. I only found the botton "Q" to drink the heighlited one but how can I switch which of the flasks is highlighted?

Okay so I have played through what I think is most of the game,
I found two H events, one in the Rodenia Chapel in the bottom left of the map. and the second one located in the second area of the ghost town. both are repeatable and don't really show up in the gallery right now. There are a few other npc's to talk to such as the swords-woman but they don't have any H events yet.

You can have control over the content as a male protag, particularly if you have the monsters acting like monsters and not just subs. Have the monsters dom the player raping the player just as you would if it was a fem protag, just have the monsters be fairly attractive.
Every girl doesn't have to be "similar" if you put some creativity into it, and even if it was, I would prefer it to it just being the same character.
You can have monster variety, and you don't have to make everything incredibly sexy for it to work-- obviously there has to be enough to be attractive, so you probably aren't going full monster (though that might be good for a really niche beasty crowd), but as long as you make it sexy in some way, it's fine.
I know when I play games like CoC I don't want to just fuck everything because there are consequences and scenes that I don't enjoy watching/reading.
I definitely don't get the wish to roleplay a woman getting fucked unless you are gay, a girl, or maybe a cucklite.
In any case, you could absolutely still roleplay a male MC just as you could a femprotag, including doing a no-sex run (as I have attempted in CoC).
I'm not suggesting the MC be a rapey orc, quite the opposite. You are a human male that gets raped by female monsters.
After all this, the only appeal I can see is that you can have a horrible monster as well as a sexy woman with no crossover: the horrible monster doesn't have to also be sexy, since the sexy part is already being fulfilled by the protag. To me at least, this in no way makes up for the fact that it's the same eye-candy in every scene, and you have to play a femprotag, though.

Hmm, I guess roleplay was a poor choice of words from my part, it's not like most ppl are roleplaying as the girl getting fucked, rather as the ruler who gets to decide her fate by making a sort of story on your head about her journey and whatnot. Specially when you consider the fact that this game won't punish you (as the moment at least) by getting raped compared to other games, it even remembers who took Aradia's virginity and how many times she got raped.
That's just a different fetish/appeal all together though. In the end it's different strokes for different folks, you have plenty of games on which you control a male protag who can get raped instead of doing the raping. And you also have games in which you can do the opposite. The problem (at least for me) with these games is that most of the time, if you're not going with the monster girl route, they'll just be normal girls, different body types, but that's about it.
In a game like this you get humanoid enemies and monsters. Aradia is the constant but the enemies bring variety in shape/form besides sex position. You can argue that it's the same thing, but watching the girl you control get raped by a multitude of different enemies has a different appeal to a guy getting raped by a multitude of normal/monster girls unless it gets real creative about it.
Don't take me wrong, I get where you're coming from but you have to consider that what works for you may not work for other people, and viceversa.

I don't think there is one yet, there is a map that lists all the attainable special items and that key is not listed. there are a few unsaveable NPC's besides that one as well.

I'm getting an "Oops! The game crashed." error whenever I try to open the game. The funny thing is I played all the versions up until 0.39 without an issue, but when I go open 0.39 or 0.38 I'm also getting the same exact error on those versions that previously worked without an issue. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?
