question, what is your estimate on how long the games is?
Highly dependent on skill level (and understanding what stats do when you start leveling up), it's kinda akin to a 2d dark souls title in that way. Stats are used less for increasing damage output, and more for being able to equip better quality gear which is where 95% of your damage comes from. Also your ability to pace your attack style, since until you get a good feel for enemy attack patterns, or just have hair trigger reflexes on dodges, going all in on damage will have you flat on your ass the moment your stamina runs out. As for actual game length last version I played if you don't fuck around with unlocking loss conditions, each level takes roughly an hour to clear first time through, and there was 7ish of them. However if you want to completionist all the gear/loss scenes/ or just aren't good with fast reflex games, assume those 7 levels will take between 20-30 hours to clear; this is NOT a one handed game to play while in combat. Even just a few goblins will whoop your ass on anything above easy difficulty if you aren't careful.

Things to keep in mind:
it's a reskin and readjustment of the enemy "scarecrow".
the animation doesn't work in the gallery (I couldn't find those files).
the first part of the ERO animation has a few small graphical glitches that I could not fix (at least with my skills).
has an edited .dll file, so it makes it incompatible with other mods and F95 will mark it as a virus.

Surprised this game is still an ongoing thing. Haven't palyed since something like 1.0.4 (when I stopped updating my maps here), did they ever add another area after the underground prison? Does the other map still release his?

So mostly since it seems you know what your talking about, I'm looking to get through knowing the game is more or less done (or at least, has endings, which it didn't the last time I played sometime in the 0.5 range). However, I ran into a stumbling block early. After the first zone's boss (the bandit leader), I see no way forward, and the only unknown context element I'm aware of is a sparkle I assume is a diary or dialog, but the game hard locks every time I interact with it. A brief look has offered no way around, something I'm missing?

already play the game from start to finish and didn't find any more bugs... everything seems to be working as intended...

Yes, this version of the game is completely unplayable. You constantly get stuck in menus and randomly when interacting with things. I appreciate the effort of getting this together, but did this person even play test this version at all?

Ok. Someone a few pages ago posted a method of making the game work (Using a slightly older version of the game with machine translation, and replacing the translation file with the new one), but I guess it's either buried now, or no one bothered to do it.

So here it is, a working version of the game:

Ive put togther a test build of a custom level. Everything seems to be working (enemies, traps, animations, scene transitions, death/respawn). Would help if anyone who wants to test the level.
Im no level designer, still hoping I can streamline the level building to a point where anyone can drag and drop a level together.

## Installing
- Unzip file into root of your install folder
(If having issues, check your anti virus. Some people have had it flagged and deleted)

## Usage
- From the "Parish Church" area, climb to the top of the tree and you should be teleported to the new area
- Exits at the end, good luck

Secondly, sorry if I missed it in earlier posts but there is a lot to sift through, I only found this mod by chance due to a quote in more recent pages --but I digress-- is it just Left Mouse click to build the struggle meter or am I supposed to press something else in tandem with it?

Tested mod out against first bandit and aren't able to escape 1st enemy grip, I do mash it like crazy during the struggle prompt but can't quite manage to escape before it's too late. Bandit gets his second wind and ultimately leads to a game over :'(

I only play with controller but it should be the buttons mapped to attack and submit.
The bandit struggles are set to be harder due to the bondage animation but if your having trouble you can edit the config file to make the struggle easier

I checked this out and I must say that its pretty impressive! I encountered no issues getting into the area and no issues were encountered during moving through the level. Obviously there was some jank like the edges protruding slightly making one or two ledge grabs more difficult but its a test level so not expecting immaculate levels. I am really excited to see what comes of these custom levels. Are they easy to make?

Also I FUCKING love the pit idea at the start! Cant wait to see some evil levels with that implemented!
