Listen, I did to complain the other game (not H game) that devs who kept breaking their promises not once, but twice, even third times because of blah blah blah reasons or whatever.... after previous year, to another year, to this year....
Now they are breaking their promise once again.... since there is no news at all....
Put yer shoes to those who are waiting for the game that they like for years and still no full release, ya'll see why.
Ok, I'll try to sympathize with you and your logic...but you guys are making this hard.
I count myself to be among the most hostile people on this site when it comes to developers being cunts and breaking promises on their projects. I've seen it all and I even work as an advisor with small, medium and large scale businesses that do that as part of their business model. I know pretty much every freaking trick they might pull off and can sense them being sketchy with high accuracy.
I'd make deal with the devil just to see some justice/retribution after years of literal milking their patreons/customers without making any progress at all.
There is one "that cannot be named" with release of their platformer being postponed at least 5 times over the last year, there is Eromancer doing everything other than actual gameplay and content, there is Mithos56 that doesn't even bother anymore with pretending...there's even Crowchild that has a history of scam-artistry longer than some of us here even live (I was in a fucking primary school when he promised to make a certain video and gathered some fundings for it). I can go on, with names like Jasonafex and his bipolar wife, or ViperV being a fool with his artists.
Now, there are also names that are almost perfectly clean in this community. Names that are in themselves a sign of quality and good work ethics that I actually feel bad about when people pirate their stuff (even though I strongly support pirating in general). We have Grimhelm, we have Vosmug, we have a couple others as well. Among them is D-lis.
You know what they have in common, other than
NOT being a lying cunts and
NOT milking everyone for no reason? They
don't make big promises. They say something
should be ready by certain time period...and if they can't deliver, it is usually for a really good reason that makes sense. So please, calm the fuck down because I've seen enough histerical people in this thread already, not even bothering with looking at what was already written.
I've waited for this game since it was just announced as a concept and another week or two is not a big deal when I know it will be worth the wait and money. If you have enough time to waste on crying for no given reason, then you have just enough time to work on yourself.
