Yea, none of these errors are related to my mod, your first exception comes on a line before I even start modding. Perhaps your save file became corrupted, or persistent save file did, but these errors have nothing to do with my mod. Thank you.

The premises are well set. The overall atmosphere stay interesting enough to keep a eyes (or two) on this game.
Few illogic behavior but that still stay acceptable according to the script.

Best I can tell you is to start a save from the beginning, use choice skipping to get back there where you were, if you follow the mod this should take about 60 seconds. If it doesn't work on a new save, then I would delete my persitent save in user/appdata/renpy, THEN if that doesn't work re-download the game because your download is the last thing I can think of that could have gotten corrupted. Hope that helps!

I believe Zoey Raven is right here. There is a rare issue with the Persistent File that came up during the fixes for the animations pre-0.06.0. I mentioned this might be an issue in some of my updates prior to this release. I even ran into it once during test. Like was mentioned, the only real fix is to either ignore it if possible or delete your persistence data and skip through to the new content. Sorry that you go hit by this but it was an unintended side effect to fix another issue with the animations not running like turbo shit on Android.

I am actually shocked. In a sea full of generic, unrealistic stories, I actually read every sentence written in this game. At first, I was skipping everything, but through the engaging and gripping dialogue, I couldn't help but be engrossed in the character's romance. Believable characters, in my lewd games? This should be illegal. I didn't even care about the sex at all when it got to it, as I was overwhelmed by the emotional catharsis that was two characters finally admitting their complicated feelings. Bravo.

While I play A LOT of games on this site I basically live on the thread of another game. I hardly ever post elsewhere but having followed Now & Then since CH 4 I I felt compelled to say how much I've enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for a good zombie apocalypse game but this is that and so much more. By the end of CH 4 to care about Carol and the feeling only get stronger as we get closer to her which is a testament to your writing ability.

Same goes for Naomi with all the flashbacks of her building her up as a cheerful free spirited girl seeing her so broken when we rescue her was heart wrenching. So keep up the good work cuz I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter

Side note: More of a trivial nitpick than anything but during the questions game when the MC admits he had a crush on his 9th grade teacher Naomi calls it a "middle school crush". Since Shenandoah and the Appalachians are mentioned I'm assuming the game takes place in Virginia in the US where 9th grade is the first year of High School so it would be a High school crush .

Okay, so let me get this official position out of the way so I can go back to talking about the game.

I will always come from a position of defending the value of my Patrons. Which means I won't actively give away content until it's free. I also won't be a dick and put stupid "exclusive codes" to keep content from anyone playing the game. If it gets into the hands of a Patron and they share this content, well that's the nature of the internet and I take that to mean people like my stuff and want other people to enjoy it. I just won't do it myself, so if it gets leaked and a mod updates the topic, that's on the staff. Also, enjoy!

Look, I know how the game is played. I've been a part of the community for a while. I know that getting a game on here can lead to growing Now & Then's gamerbase. So, if future builds don't get leaked early, I will always post them the second they become public.

When Zoey Raven and mordred93 have updates to their walkthroughs, they can ping me and I'll update the links. They're the owners of said content and provide it at their discretion. I certainly appreciate their efforts.

And now, on to answering questions and responding to comments.

I for one will wait for the public release of the game. Waiting 5 days is a really reasonable thing for something you get for free. Of course I get a lot of games here early when it is like a month or more but I think you should support a creator who does the right thing.

There's maybe one jump scare (I don't even think it's all that scary). The bulk of the horror is from dead bodies, infected humans, people being killed, and an atmosphere like a zombie movie/book.

Yeah, I've once been asked the same question six times in a row. I felt this really encapsulated how some conversations really are fucking pointless, because they're just gonna want a Yes no matter what.
