I do have to say I thing a more interesting storyline for Emmie would have been one of the raiders saving her and then them using her to blackmail the grandpa into cooperating with them, which could bring the MC & co into play as he goes to them for assistance as he now knows the raiders have eyes in town.
I agree that the MC & co have been stupidly lax about security themselves too. That's been bugging me for a couple updates.

Iam bit disappointed with direction the story is taking.
To be honest emmie death was unpleasant and unnecessary.
to ones who say her death adds realistic element to the story, for me i find it unrealistic in a zombie apocalypse you would never let your guard down, moreover if McCreary is really her grandpa he wouldn't let her out of sight he would protect her 24/7.
she is his last family member, he would do everything to keep her safe.
so either he didn't care about her or the dev wanted to just make an emotional impact.

I was finally able to enjoy .21 and .22 and am very happy with the story despite all the drama and emotion.
After all, everyone is worn out and exhausted, not only physically, but mentally as well. Bad decisions are bound to happen here....
And I personally prefer this solution significantly more than a raid/storm on the house... don't you?
Of course, everything could have been solved "better", just as I could have easily won any war in retrospect with all the available facts ;-)
I actually found the drama around Hana and her lie or her behavior in general quite well solved. I had imagined it to be worse, and am really thankful that it wasn't played up into an endless soap opera.
For the future I wish of course also significantly more organization, military training, patrols and guard posts and a bit less sloppiness and stupidity of the remaining humanity!
Maybe DEV sees it similarly and the story "improves" towards our imagination?

Don't know about the guys who dropped this game because it turned "depressing" and "sad" but for me, I love it. There's more to this game than plain, old boring sex scenes left and right. It has character.
So massive props to the devs making a game that I not only play for the sex scenes, but finding myself playing for the actual storyline, and for the characters.

Just played the part with the McCreary patrol.
Okay, finished the recent update. Great freaking storytelling. It's heart-breaking what happens, but at the same time, it's a story of the end of the world, so it's expected.
Saying that, I didn't realise Hana didn't have permission! Yikes!
Am excited to see Sydney again soon though. Honestly, in terms of raw sexuality, I actually prefer Sydney and Hana, with Carol in third place. Although, story-wise- Carol is totally queen-bee to me.
Anyway, great update! Both excited and sad for the new chapter!

Do you know if the author still reads feedback and reviews on this site? I know the author did in the beginning but haven't seen the author participate here for quite a while.
I see a lot of devs moving away from F95 and stick to their own discord for instance. Mostly because huge drama can be made over small decisions, I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong but it would tire me if I was the dev.
Also not saying that's what happened btw, just speculating.

I don't know how often they get on to read reviews, or look at the comments. Kinderfeld logs in every so often however (if you look at their activity). I know they login around the time of the release as they message me to tell me to download it to write the WT. Outside of that, there is random posts now and again. I see Kinderfeld on Discord as well, and is much more active there.

Saves not working after update? Don't panic.
This is what happened to me.
I started with Chapter 20 files and used Zoey' mod. Worked through from start to end with loads of saves. By then Chapter 22 was available. I downloaded it added the mod files and tried to load my last save. It didn't work. I read the loads of comments mainly suggesting the mod was the cause.
Dreading having to rerun from the start I sampled the earlier saves and one worked. I then worked my way through the various saves and found some worked and others didn't. There seemed to be no pattern to the failures. With some saved on the same day one would work and another would not.
Finally, I got to the last good save being only a shortish way from the end of Chapter 20 and got up to the start of Ch 21 with skip and taps.
It is now fine, current saves are working. Where possible I will try each save as I make it before I quit for the day.
This definately one of the great stories with sex that I have found on this site.

I don't know what you mean by saves were moved. Saves stay in the same place on your hard disk (the default renpy directory) across versions. I have never had to move my saves, and only looked for them when I posted them on this thread.

I know there was a scene where is the option to share Naomi? With a woman to have fun together.
When I play with this mod from Zoey, I can not have this scene?
Because I know Zoey makes a wt mod for us to see every scene. And when we choose a different choice than wt mod give us, it does not matter much.
And does this scene matter? in the sense that if I don't choose this lesbian scene, I won't see content with this woman in the future, for example, MC solo with her?
