Yes, an update! Sadly i can't play right now as I'm busy. This is going to be on my mind all day .
Gotta agree.I haven't finished this update yet but I have to say that I'm getting tired of seeing them being unarmed, at best the MC has a pistol.
There should be at least 1 person armed with a rifle at all times on lookout/patrol and everyone should be strapped with either a pistol or long-arm at all times [they have at least 3 pistols and 3 long-arms]. They could takes shifts doing guard duty, 1-2 hours per person and then switch.
I've just watched the scene where they walk to the dock and its annoyed me that they know there have been attacks on nearby farms and are just going out for a walk as if society hasn't crumbled. They need to get it in their heads that this is, currently, lawless, end-of-days shit right now.
They should have the shotgun, the AK and the SCAR as well as side-arms when going outside the property walls as a group.
I mean he's already had the dream about his bad choices, this should be fresh on the MC's mind.
Amen brother.Gotta agree.
"Bandits raiding the farms/village close by?! People got killed? Infected up and about? Better make a picnic! Unarmed! And go skinny dipping! Tehehe!"
... how this group survived so long is a Christmas miracle, lol.
Btw also not exactly sure why they'd want to move from the mansion in the first place. I mean, story wise sure (Walking Dead's cast being stuck forever on the farm and the prison is sending season greetings) but from the pov of the MC?
"We're intruding on Hana here" Oh noez! My, how impolite! Gotta make sure to survive the end of days with proper manners, I guess. And they didn't even gift her a bottle of shitty red whine when visiting! They're pretty much as barbaric as the infected!
...
Fuck it, get Hana full on board with the harem and start planting some crops – probably the best combination of defensible, remote and yet still comfy you're going to find. Also, solar gens and a pool. You'd have to be bonkers to give that up.
I mean, them moving to the town is quite understandable, town and its people seem to still have some sense in them and open accepting new comers, if being wary about them. So moving in to town is good idea, safety in numbers and having infra like doctors office etc... will help when you plan on having a family. The mansion while defendable and possibly self-sustaining if there were people who know how to farm living in there, is far away from the town if they need help etc... While MC is capable guy, he isn't mechanically savvy enough to keep those solar panels running if there's some major problem and isn't familiar with how to farm.Gotta agree.

For one thing, at that point in the story, no one's made a decision if Carol actually IS "your woman" - and he is free to choose not to be with Carol. Second of all, yes. Sexually assaulted by women. It can and does happen and is no less an assault than if Carol woke up to some random bandit eating her out after breaking in to their apartment. The violation is the same. I'd imagine there might be some females IRL (mother? grandmother? boss? to speculate on a few) that if you woke up to them latched on to your dick without previous consent you'd feel violated, abused, taken advantage of, whatever you want to call it. And even if there isn't such a female in your reality - or you refuse to admit such - doesn't mean everyone in the world is bound by your viewpoint.Your woman is sucking your dick and you're feeling sexually assaulted. Right. Sure.
I hope for your sake that you're trolling us. If you're not, well... who cares, after all.
Poor fellows... sexually assaulted by women... the fuck is going on in this world: just stop the car and let me out, because I've had enough.
Except you don't have a sexual relationship with your mother, grandmother or whatever. The only case I would accept complaining about that, is if you didn't have a single intercourse with Carol throughout the game. But IIRC at least 1 is mandatory. Otherwise you sound like a snowflakeThe violation is the same. At the time of the sleep BJ the MC and Carol didn't have a sexual relationship other than her having a crush on him in secret, you're basicly saying that if you woke up with your daughter blowing you it should be fine because when she was six she wanted to "marry her daddy" and would take baths with you until she was 5, this IS your arguement no matter how you spin it, because bathing with your daughter and her wanting to marry you as a child is a sexual relationship in your world apparently, since she has a crush on you. furthmore for the moron who wrote he doesn't wanna be sexually assualted, 1: are you going to bitch to the writer of 50 shades of grey because you don't like BDSM? are you dumb?, this is a story first and a game second, YOUR feelings on what the characters in a story do don't matter, the characters feelings matter, did the MC feel assualted? no? then shut the fuck up!, you are a bystander in their story not a character you "play" the MC but only as a passive observer, you choose small moments to define larger ones, that's it. that maybe a harsh way to put it but this is an AVN of fictional people in a fictional world not reality and your complaints about story elements mean nothing, its an interactive book a "choose your own adventure" if you will, you don't dictate anything except the route taken not the choices or the feelings the characters have about those choices made on that route. 2: As someone who has been sexually assualted by both genders, yes it happens and yes it hurts both ways, but i don't let it affect things like Games, Books,TV, or movies as they are FICTION not reality, you complaining about a fictional moment in a story speaks volumes to your mental state and tells me and many others that you are not ready for AVN's , you should seak professional help for your damage first, then when you think you got a grip on your own BS, try again. not while you haven't dealt with it.Except you don't have a sexual relationship with your mother, grandmother or whatever. I mean, my feelings on what happens in a story do matter outside of what the characters in a story feel. Like that's kinda the point of a story? You don't enjoy an event in a story or think it's good or bad solely based on if one of the characters in the story likes it; you color your own interpretation as well. If an MC meets an incredibly racist character who I as a player hate, but the MC really likes and the narrative shows no signs of being against anything the racist says, I think it's perfectly reasonable to be upset with that. Another example could be if a character's in something that feels like an abusive relationship for example, and the story doesn't treat it as such, then I think it's perfectly fine to be uncomfortable with that as well.At the time of the sleep BJ the MC and Carol didn't have a sexual relationship other than her having a crush on him in secret, you're basicly saying that if you woke up with your daughter blowing you it should be fine because when she was six she wanted to "marry her daddy" and would take baths with you until she was 5, this IS your arguement no matter how you spin it, because bathing with your daughter and her wanting to marry you as a child is a sexual relationship in your world apparently, since she has a crush on you. furthmore for the moron who wrote he doesn't wanna be sexually assualted, 1: are you going to bitch to the writer of 50 shades of grey because you don't like BDSM? are you dumb?, this is a story first and a game second, YOUR feelings on what the characters in a story do don't matter, the characters feelings matter, did the MC feel assualted? no? then shut the fuck up!, you are a bystander in their story not a character you "play" the MC but only as a passive observer, you choose small moments to define larger ones, that's it. that maybe a harsh way to put it but this is an AVN of fictional people in a fictional world not reality and your complaints about story elements mean nothing, its an interactive book a "choose your own adventure" if you will, you don't dictate anything except the route taken not the choices or the feelings the characters have about those choices made on that route. 2: As someone who has been sexually assualted by both genders, yes it happens and yes it hurts both ways, but i don't let it affect things like Games, Books,TV, or movies as they are FICTION not reality, you complaining about a fictional moment in a story speaks volumes to your mental state and tells me and many others that you are not ready for AVN's , you should seak professional help for your damage first, then when you think you got a grip on your own BS, try again. not while you haven't dealt with it.

The fact that we are supposed to care about these characters however makes me personally feel weird when a girl sexually assaults the MC and the narrative doesn't seem to agree with that.
It doesn't appear to be.I just wanted to know if the scene's avoidable.
I believe I said something about those being speculation (or examples might have been a better term) of people who might induce a negative response if a person woke up to someone sucking on their dick when they have not given consent? Who they have not had any prior sexual relationship with? Whether it is mandatory later in the game or not I neither know nor find relevant to the subject of it being forced and non-consensual at that time. Because as others noted, and I did myself, at the time of this event there is no sexual relationship between Carol and MC. And if you wanna talk about snowflakes, maybe start with the ones who cannot handle that others might have different opinions than themselves.Except you don't have a sexual relationship with your mother, grandmother or whatever. The only case I would accept complaining about that, is if you didn't have a single intercourse with Carol throughout the game. But IIRC at least 1 is mandatory. Otherwise you sound like a snowflake
So wait, I'm confused. Is this a VN or a KN? Because I'm pretty sure in a VN where the choices you make actually do define something of how the game proceeds and ends, you're not exactly a passive observer. In fact, I kinda thought the point of a VN is that you're SUPPOSED to put yourself in the MC's shoes to play the game. Is that not the point? All he did was ask if it was avoidable and say it makes him uncomfortable. There is nothing wrong with being uncomfortable with something you interpret as sexual assault. Even in a game. Glad you've gotten over multiple sexual assaults in your life, you seem confident you're much better equipped to pass moral judgement on the rest of humanity now. As I said, I've never played an anti-Carol run through the game, so obviously I don't have a stop-dead game over opinion of the event, but I'm not willing to tell someone else they're not allowed to feel any certain way about an event, even in a game.furthmore for the moron who wrote he doesn't wanna be sexually assualted, 1: are you going to bitch to the writer of 50 shades of grey because you don't like BDSM? are you dumb?, this is a story first and a game second, YOUR feelings on what the characters in a story do don't matter, the characters feelings matter, did the MC feel assualted? no? then shut the fuck up!, you are a bystander in their story not a character you "play" the MC but only as a passive observer, you choose small moments to define larger ones, that's it. that maybe a harsh way to put it but this is an AVN of fictional people in a fictional world not reality and your complaints about story elements mean nothing, its an interactive book a "choose your own adventure" if you will, you don't dictate anything except the route taken not the choices or the feelings the characters have about those choices made on that route.

It's a VN which is why I said it's like a "choose your own adventure book" you do make choices but the choices made are minor and only effect the story in a limited form like which girls the MC "gets with", for example: you can choose to romance carol's friend but you can't choose to "leave her to the thugs", she will always join your group no matter what, your choices don't effect the over all story, just a limited amount of it, and I never said he wasn't allowed to feel anything just that his feelings don't matter to the story or characters, you can feel bad about an event like the sleep BJ but the MC doesn't and your feelings about it won't change how the characters feel so asking for it to be changed or removed doesn't matter, feel upset sure but don't come to the forums saying it shouldn't be in the game because "YOU don't like it", I hope that clears up what I ment some more for you, I didn't mean to sound like a dick there, I just see alot of people bitch in forums about "I don't like this or that and the dev should remove it because I don't like it" and it gets old fast lolSo wait, I'm confused.
