It is strangely worded for sure. I dont think the next update would take that long but i dont believe the game would end by that time either. There's the outdoor update, BDSM update, adding another girl update, pregnancy as well.

well japanese devs are a bit more ethical than others, so they might deliver a big update with loads of content.
