you're wrong, oba-san means (aunt) and obaa-san means (grandmother)
so there is a difference.

I would be willing to pay someone to translate this stuff into an actual coherent story, MTL's are just trash and ppl really shouldn't even bother, it does little to encourage me to support the actual creator and since it's "translated" no other group would pick it up, very sad
I just wish MTL was a tag and the site had a blacklist function so I could just purge all MTL'ed games from the feed and thus not get my hopes up, especially when I know the game is good :/
So out of curiosity, how would one go about changing the MTL text to one that is better translated? Is there a specific file that has all the original script in Japanese?

Ah I see. That's a shame. While I am not fluent in Japanese I wanted to see if I could improve the translation a bit, but it sounds like more work than what it is worth.

you can use other programs, but it takes an insane amount of energy & efforts under the crappy RPGM MV limitations,
japanese to english=painfully hard.
better off using text hooks programs wail playing, its more effective then MTL

Fixing a translation is often more trouble then actually doing one yourself from scratch because when you get their translation you are working with their final product rather then the original script. So you are already operating on a potentially flawed version of the game. It is better to just make a fresh translation from the Japanese version.
Either way it comes down to you having the desire to do a full game translation. If you want something better then an MTL you have to be willing to put in real work.

This. Writing, dialog, context, characters, situations etc, are what make some 3D CG games likeable for me (i.e. Being a DIK, A Wife & Mother, Haley's Story). Otherwise you're just looking at poorly rendered 3D models going at it, and it's not that different for 2D CG games so yeah, plot matters.

I think I will never understand the logic behind putting so much characters in game when they are virtually of the same design.
