Some rambling:
I really liked the linearity of the story, since this isn't the typical 'oh shit she's so hot I have to fuck her' game. It's more adult than porn game. The actual naughty scenes/playing time ratio is really on the lower end, but I don't mind that at all, it works really well, because the focus is more about the characters than fancy visuals (Although I liked the scenes very much aswell). Having the linearity makes it easier to develop the characters simply because of the work you'd have to put in if you set multiple meaningful choices and rewrite it for different scenarios. I like it this way more because the author can flesh out the characters better, it's really similar to a book. I hope he continues this way.
By far the hardest and therefore best choice was which girl you liked the most or wanted to be with(can't recall the phrasing from the top of my head), since it makes you really think what your stand is towards the characters, so please more of them in the future!
Choices that made it sound like they had an (immediate) impact on the story are honestly rather frustrating when you find out they change nothing at all. I assume they are to track the like-points stencilbits mentioned, but I think letting the Players choose what/how or about whom MC thinks about would be a better way to go about that. (There are already some decisions like that in the game I think).
Small bit about Nina: It would be great if there were some lines ackwnoledging if they decided to get intimate with each other in the shower and in the morning, but yea there is where the linearity comes into play again and I've covered that already I think. That and her saying she would be fine with him cheating as long as it wasn't with Melissa (although maybe that was just a joke that went over my head?) was a bit offthrowing.
It also has some great tidbits of humour, I don't think I chuckled that much at any other game so far, escpecially the Nina closeup on her face was hilarious, 10/10.
Also you said, stencilbits, that you didn't want to be too ambitious and then release a 'demo' that takes hours to complete. In that time I could propably play multiple games that are already out for over a year, have half as much fun and probably forgotten about them already :closedtongue: Great game, thank you very much!
(Jane not being in the cover art hopefully doesn't mean anything )
