Another month, another monthly update! The fallout from Collective Shout and payment processor trickery continues, although with some positive news.

has restored free adult games for now, although plenty of things are still uncertain. In other news, I got banned from PayPal (which is one of the ways to transfer Patreon money). I hadn't even noticed that, as I haven't taken payouts from Patreon in a long time, but it looks like that happened at some point during this whole mess. It might have something to do with the current things, or it could be something else. PayPal can be pretty random, and I think I have already been temporarily banned from it once a long time ago. I'm currently poking their customer service to see what's going on.In other news, I got back from my little vacation trip and immediately got some mystery flu to celebrate my return to work. Great timing as always. Fortunately, it's been pretty mild, can't even get a proper fever these days.
Back to business. I have been finishing and debugging the new 3D demo I have been working on. After some struggling, I found out that the latest AMD graphics card drivers broke all Godot 3D games and plenty of others (

). Just great. Looks like the driver people have found the cause and it should be fixed in the next release, but currently the whole demo is mostly unplayable on AMD GPU's. What's even more amusing is that earlier this year, NVIDIA also broke almost all Godot 3D games, along with many others (like the newest Doom: The Dark Ages), with their buggy drivers. It's like early 2000's again, with crap quality drivers everywhere. While waiting for AMD fixes, I also started to update the project from Godot 4.4 to 4.5, which should hopefully be released soon (tm). It's in late beta and pretty stable already. Currently, I use a custom Frankenstein build with some extra fixes and changes, but 4.5 improves and adds several very useful things. Once things work smoothly again, I should be able to finally release a working demo.
As always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until Offcuts 0.4 is out. I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then. Thanks for your endless patience!
