Another month, another monthly update! As usual, let's get the important stuff out of the way first. I'm currently finishing the new 3D engine, which I will plan to use after Offcuts 0.4 (using Ren'Py) is released. I'll also try to post some short videos/pics to Discord once I get some final polish in. I planned to add a video to this post, but Patreon has some jank with embedded videos and doesn't support all features for Adult creators anyway (and I usually keep these update posts public anyway), so Discord it is (for now, need to sort this out at some point).

Currently, the progress has been good and I'm planning to release a quick tech demo near the end of July to get some quick feedback and fix any bugs and other issues the new engine will have. It will naturally also have some new content to encourage testing, although nothing too major. The content is still a surprise, but hopefully it will a pleasant one. Just don't expect anything too big, as the main purpose of the demo will still be to test things out.

After that, it's time to do any final tweaks to Offcuts 0.4 and release it relatively soon afterward. I will be traveling for a few weeks in July/August and will not be easily available, so the overall schedule is still a bit open, but I don't expect any major problems to happen. Things should be a lot clearer next month, so fingers crossed. The last few months have been pretty smooth sailing after all the delays and health issues, so hopefully things will stay that way. In case you want more information, the last few posts should contain some additional details. And naturally, it might be a good idea to start to think about what to vote for next once that time comes.

Monthly Update: I got my dick stuck in the vacuum again Edition.

Another month, another monthly update! First, the good news! The update is almost done. I swear. I just need to proofread. I know what you are thinking, "Didn't he say he was proofreading 6 years ago?" Your right. I'm trying to finish it but every time I start reading my brain tells me to stop and I listen to it.

On to the bad news. "defeated sigh" I am currently making this post from a hospital bed. I know, I know, another excuse but I promise this time it is real. Last night I was out walking with my seeing eye dog and unfortunately my dog wanted some poodle pussy and took off dragging me with it right into the street. Next thing I know I'm waking up in the hospital. The doctor told me my 5th kidney was ruptured but luckily I still have 4 so I don't have to work on the game and release updates to gain money to pay for the transplant.

I know it sounds bad but its not. I'll be on my feet any minute and back to work on 0.4. I'll see you next month unless my eyes fall out of the sockets.

Another month, another Update of Waiting for Godot 2.0: Electric Boogaloo! I mean Offcuts.

Another month is ending, which means it's time for the good, old monthly update! And there's plenty to talk about this time, unfortunately. The biggest topic this time is a ban wave against thousands of NSFW (Not Safe for Work) games that happened in Steam and Itch.io (where I currently host Offcuts). And yes, Offcuts is one of the games currently hidden while Itch.io tries to figure out what to do. They have a blog post about it in here

in case you are interested in more details about this whole mess. As things are still moving and nobody is quite sure how things will end up, it's hard to discuss the issue, as the situation and rumours are changing almost every day. This, together with the UK's new age verification requirements, causes extra headaches for people trying to host files elsewhere (with similar EU requirements probably arriving soon). In short, this has been a bad few weeks for adult content creators.

Of course, things can get even worse if the Collective Shout and/or payment processors put more pressure against Pateron or other similar services. They already did that some years ago and forced Patreon to ban incest and other related content, but the ultimate goal is to probably ban all NSFW content and creators, even on Patron. Whether this succeeds remains to be seen.

My situation is not too bad, as I intend to keep my projects public and free anyway, so I simply have to find another file host if things don't work out with Itch.io. Even a full Patreon ban is not fatal as this is mostly a hobby for me anyway. People who rely on selling their adult games are in a much harder spot and I'm sure this will cause major real-life problems for a lot people.

As for the 3D demo I was planning on releasing around this time, it will have to wait for at least a few more weeks as I will spend the next two weeks traveling during my summer vacation, as I mentioned in my previous update. Not the best timing, but as I have already made plans with other people, I can't really change this easily. However, hopefully the situation will be a bit clearer when I come back. Expect another update in 2-3 weeks or if something major happens. Also assuming this NSFW Patreon still exists and everyone has not been banned before that or something. Wouldn't surprise me at this point. Well, let's hope for the best.

Another month is ending, which means it's time for the friendly neighborhood monthly update! And there's plenty to talk about this time, unfortunately. I went on a holiday and I forgot my laptop. So I have to go back on a trip to look for it. I uploaded the tech demo to a pen drive, but I accidentally dropped it in the toilet after dropping a deuce the size of Hulk Hogan's arms. That my look huge to you, but to a bullshit connoisseur like myself, that's average sized.

Once I return in a few weeks, I'll need a few more weeks to rest due to jetlag and going to Thighland twice in a row can tire even the horniest of Stencilbits. Once I return from my sex tourism second vacation, I mean recover my long lost laptop, I'll restart working on 0.4.
