Yeah, it's nice to see these reports now and again. Even if you don't really have much to say about progress, it's much better than complete silence that some devs prefer.

Cant say I blame them honestly, sometimes there really is nothing to say, other than shit you have already said plenty of times before in other posts.

Which sometimes makes you think whats the point lol

Well, the point is to let people know you're still "here" and progressing without trouble mostly. Saying something meaningful is not always needed, nor is posting renders every time and such. Just saying "i'm alive and working" like you are doing in a period of... i'd say 2 weeks, so people know dev's indeed still doing it and not just quit or something. It can get really bad with these games, when there's can be a month, two, or even half a year of silence, and then (when many fans already left) dev posting new version and explaining "what happened". Of course for devs who have patreon it's even more relevant.

@Oppai Auteur, thank you for update and your hard work!
I recall, you mentioned you were rendering day1. Does it mean you have reworked and rendering whole game from day 1? I believe current build represent 4 days.

Thank you!

The game starts at Day 0 since I saw that as a kind of intro, and we got as far as Day 6 in the current build. I am reworking the whole game, which includes re-rendering all previous renders from 720p to 1080p, minor editing to the script, adding new scenes in some days and a little prologue with the MC's mom

Hope that answers your question :)

Cheers!

Some more comparisons for you, just to show work continues
Yeah, looks great. Especially with those noise ridden ones, it's just a night and day indeed.
Attitudes like this are why devs don't communicate
Hah, at least now you kinda know how it feels like. ;) And yep, that's how donations actually supposed to work on patreon. But only a small percent of people actually understand that.

Thanks :D

I honestly forget sometimes just how bad some of the early renders looked. It’s surprising people even bothered to try the game, with the first release having a very short runtime and bad renders you would think the game would be dead on arrival lol

So I’ve noticed, people are just confusing sometimes
