A weird thought came into my mind, what if this update was supposed to be released publicly on April 1st as a an April fools joke?
I know that this assumption is a bit flawed in terms of that it is released on patreon and they probably have the same "problem".

If you use windows hit the windows key search %APPDATA% then scroll down to the renpy folder and look for OPAT

Oh, missed the RenPy folder in the appdata when I looked at it. And it's OPT_Chapt2 for chapter 2 saves.

Does this have something to do with newer versions of RenPy, putting saves there?

Developers have had the choice for a while. The

implies that the default changed to user-specific folders (user/AppData on Windows) in 6.9.0, which was released in 2009.

The oldest Ren'Py game save folder in AppData I have was created in 2013. (Had to dig that out of a backup.)

No, the PRINCESS_IN_DISTRESS code from last update is a trap that activated in 0.11 (by wiping your inventory every time you went to sleep). If you never used it (or have saves from before you used it that you can fall back on), you will be fine. If you did, then Uncle Eugene has a fix on the previous page that turns off that code. Or you can just replay the game from scratch.

Why is OP still not updated? And probably it's best to just include anti-pirate patch in download, so people could just download and play normally without reading the thread

Hello. I haven't been able to get Amandine's Hungry for Apples quest. I think I've only gotten to where she says she can't work on the quest cause Snow can catch her lying. I made her the minstrel costume and Melisandre has said its suspicious. Amandine always says "No, not for now" when asked to go outside. I have completed everything else except that now I think. Any help or save where it starts?

Probably yes. Easier to just start a new save or use the one where you didn't yet apply PRINCESS_IN_DISTRESS code. Unless you figure out how to modify save files on android. You will need something like "patreonQuest" with id 4 flagged as false
