When you start of the renders of the game are… not good. You can see during the intro and maybe the first update how Caribdis found his style of rendering. It started out as mostly first person renders but transitioned into more third person renders.

Maybe this is what made me give up quite early. I did just finish his new game (or well, what's out so far), and damn it's good. The atmosphere is just great. Will that improve over the course of this game to reach the standard of his new game? Because if that's the case I'll give it another go.

I sadly haven‘t had time to try Eternum yet, but judging from the screenshots, Once in a Lifetime gets at least close to the quality of Eternum render-wise. Especially the last few updates improve a lot and I expect Eternum to take it a step further.

This game is definitively worth playing to the end. The renders get much better, the plot is fantastic and the humor is for once actually spot on.

Just finished the game and i feel I am already missing them, there is no more story to experience.
Awesome game overall.
it would be awesome if we can get a decent epilogue for this game.

Honestly not the best written VN i have played. But I wanted to keep playing so in my eyes its great. I wish the character interactions were paced a bit better, would have loved to slow everything down a bit to give it time to breathe. Everything just flew by./

I do love all the characters here and the humour is right up my alley.

I want more to be honest.

I feel like I need to expand on this a bit now that I've got some post nut clarity.

This is honestly a tier above like 95% of other porn games. The H scenes have context through some proper character development rather than relying on a lazy gimmick like hypnosis/corruption or a boring "MC does x for heroine and heroine does y for MC" and repeat x until y=sex. Man, what a breath of fresh air.

The story in general was great as well. Like if I was just reading a book with this general plot I could see myself enjoying it. The style of writing was enjoyable and funny and pretty much all of the characters, side characters included, were likeable and not once did I not want them to be a part of the particular scen they were in. Also set in the UK so points for that.

This is a cracking game overall, didn't drag on for longer than it needed to either which is a win in my opinion. That being said, still very much looking forward to the epilogue content.

Seriously a great game one of the best porn games ive played, and ive played quite a few. The ending was amazing and evoked lots of emotion. This has been one of my favorites and im sad to see it go. I got that feeling of finishing a really good show or book series.

Finally finished plaything this game and holy shit man this is definitely one of the best games I've played and damn near cried during the end scenes... I know it'll probably never happen since Eternum is the next big thing (That game only just got released with a 0.1 and it is already amazing!) but would absolutely love to see a sequel to this amazing game, surely there's more craziness this family can get up to heh and can never get enough of the sexy teacher.

Cannot wait to continue Eternum and other projects in the future, good luck!!

I don't want it to feel like I'm echoing everyone else, but this game was amazing. I just finished it, and if left me with that bittersweet feeling you get when you finish something great. Sad to see it end, but honored that I got to experience it. All of the relationships were great. I particularly loved how knowing and supportive Carla was in the end. The comedic writing was also top notch. I'm looking forward to playing Eternum. If its half as good as this game, I'll be great.
