Quick question, but where is this middle picture from? I feel like I missed this scene somehow, but I've seen it posted a few times now.

I just finished the game yesterday, and boy was this one of the most enjoyable story experiences I've ever had. Really loved it.

It's a wallpaper presenting the sequel Once in a Lifetime 2: The Return of Astaroth. I'm so delusional excited about it.

Jokes aside, it's a wallpaper, in a very bad quality, I found in a Google page that had the game for free, just to make the meme. I suppose you can find it at Caribdis' Patreon page, but I'm too lazy to look around right now.

This VN may be old and obviously lacking in comparison to Eternum and other AVNs, but I still miss it. Been years since the last time I play it, and from all the adult games/AVNs I have played, this is one of those that holds a special place in my heart.

Nothing quite like crashing a wedding to the piano melody version of "I'm Blue." This game forever lives rent free in my mind. Honestly one of the best combination of fun writing, good humor, S+ tier girls, and an interesting enough plot to play not just for the "plot." Still remains one of the best AVN to date period.

just finished it, what can i say this game is incredible, it leads you to think its gonna be a thing first then it developes as something completely different. all the character are well written and both the comedy and horror are done very good, altought the story is a bit easy to anticipate and some things dont really make a lot of sense and there was a lot of space to delve more deeply in the key concepts of the story, this is a solid 8/10

Because it's Darci, in Ripples you will see Judie in the scene when the MC buy a new phone.
Devs love to put homages to the games and devs they appreciate and they are in friendly terms, when not friends directly.
You will see references to My new family, both in OIAL and in Eternum, My Bully is my lover ( to quote some), as well as for other games and movies, since Cari is a big fan.

I think we can audio at like halfway in the game, or something like that? I didn't play for a long time but I know we don't have audio at the beginning at the game.

Is the developer ever planning to make some kind of continuation or sequel where you get to blonde chick with any of the daughters in threesome/foursome?

Caribdis once said he wanted to make an extended epilogue, but I don't think that's on his mind now. He's focusing on Eternum and he already mentioned there will be a third game after Eternum is finished.

Regardless of what Caribdis plans to do, I don't think a new epilogue/sequel is necessary. As much as I loved OiAL, there's nothing else to add to the story. The MC destroyed Astaroth and his minions, he managed to get his harem and form a big family with his LIs and live happily ever after; the side characters also had their own happy endings, so I think that's enough. It's just like with Now & Then by Kinderfeld: would love to see more content, but the story got closure without leaving any loose ends.

as you just finished i was hoping to pick your brain. When does audio come in? I just got past the game show and its dead quiet. No music at the start screen. I've only played about 2 dozen games but none of them have had zero audio. Especially where some sceens seem to expect you to hear something and the character reacts to that sound.

You should already be hearing audio and sound effects even at the game show. Definitely start screen audio and other areas too. You got through the hospital already too right? That's an example of a lot of the audio parts, intense music, weather, doors opening and closing, floor creaking etc. The sex scenes only have some occasional audio during oral scenes, but other than that there's no other sex sound effects. This is Caribdis' first game so a lot of it is seeing how his process evolved over time with the creation of the game, but there's more and more general audio and music and the like as the game goes on for sure.
