I can see that for some games. I hate those ultra-slow burn ones with endless pages of internal dialogue, but there's plenty of good stuff and not like that here. The models are better than most games out there, way better than the cartoony ones.

It is pretty much sureal to tell a story about a drug addicted couple without prostitution and NTR.... makes the game somehow strange in my eyes.... where they get the money what they need daily for their shots???

This has been asked and answered in the thread on more than one occasion, and is also answered in the game, but I always feel the need to respond when it is. These are not street bum junkies, not everyone goes to that level. Junkies are quite clever and manipulative people and there are a variety of things short of doing anything like you are mentioning to get money for drugs. I've heard countless stories and through my own experience never had to do this. When people think of a junkie they just put them into a box, we don't all fit into a box. Really loving this story and I enjoy the banter between the MC and Lydia. However, in this update for me it just felt like it was a bit too much. With the banter being between the MC and all the girls, even when Lydia wasn't present, it felt like it was nonstop with no real breaks for serious moments, except the one early in the update with Barb and Lydia. For me, it just got a bit overwhelming almost to the point of being annoying. Anyway, that is just my opinion. Looking forward to the next update.

All junkies are inherently witty people so there is going to be some of that with all of them. They have to be in order to make it in that world. I'm not sure I can write a much more tender moment than the date with Mary, and also the stuff with Audrey and Melissa were serious moments. Sam is a lot like the MC so there was going to be a back and forth, especially due to the nature of the situation but I feel their interactions are very different than his an Lydia's. The volleyball was the same, it needed to be competitive. There was no real calamity in this update, so perhaps that's what you missed, but I can't put that in every one and have them still be impactful. Thank you for your feedback though, and I appreciate you playing.

You know Walter Victor, I've tossed around the idea of putting in the OP. "If you don't like to read, and aren't interested in character development and true to life story, this is probably not the game for you. It has plenty of sex, but if you are looking for a quick fap probably best to look to other games." I saw another dev do this once. Not sure if it would be a good or bad thing. That way at least people would be informed?

I appreciate your response and I understand your points. The more that I think about it, I think it was just the lunch with Mary scene that just kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe, the combo of the MC complaining about the place being nicer than where he would prefer and the banter just made him come across as an ungrateful asshole. I mean, Mary picked the place and she was paying so he could have just enjoyed a pleasant lunch and a tender moment. Maybe, I just expected him to be more chill after smoking weed. But maybe that would be out of character for an addict, I don't really know.

He still very much is an ungrateful asshole. But, he was more poking fun at her, in what I hoped was an endearing way, if you are on her love path you would have gotten even more serious dialogue, in my mind he was still trying to get her back a bit for what she did at the park. I think the MC goes a LONG way to flatter Mary in this update, but you must understand they are life long friends and they are always going to mess with each other. I can see how you might have though that though. Again, I'm glad you are playing I appreciate all of you guys that do!

Very nice update again, with a good bit of playing time! Loved the threesome and the date with Samantha!
One thing that did strike me as a bit odd is how eloquent all the inner monologues of the characters are during the sex scenes. Maybe it's just me, but I don't have such long structured sentences and fancy words in my head during sex!

That's kind of an artistic license thing, it's also a damned if you do damned if you don't. Without the descriptions you might as well just watch porn cause you'll get the moans from there, with them it makes it a little more unique to this medium. You don't have to read them, there are they for me and those who like it to be described as I do.

You have the right idea, but if you put it exactly that way, you might come across as overbearing and obnoxious. Perhaps just a factual statement of what playing your game involves would suffice. Just lighten it up a little.

I always enjoy the games where the internal thoughts of multiple people are portrayed. It's an especially great way to show irony. In sex scenes, I believe it makes them even hotter. You get more than the usual 'AHHHH!!! MORE!!!', and it seems more realistic if it's thoughts rather than said out loud.
Isn't it always good to know what people are thinking?

That's certainly why I added to those scene in the first three updates, and continued it in this one. It's so funny if I actually sat down to write and had everything in my head people say at release time, and took it all into account I wouldn't have a clue what to put down. "I love the banter" "There's too much banter", "This game is to heavy fore me" "There wasn't enough serious moments this update". Not singling anyone out just using examples. If I didn't just go. P.S. - It's why I take a week off after an update, so I can clear my mind, and TBH SOME feedback I've actually used and some of the things people say, like for instance "Softer moments with Lydia" It's like "Hey, I already had that planned, give me and the character a chance to get there!".

so i got the mod to see what the choices i made where affecting and i realize some choices affect sober and junkie when they dont make sense for it....eg: when u go to save mary from hector u have choices tht are angry or calm but its junkie or sober. so making the anger choice and chosing to punch hector is adding to junkie and i dont understand that

IMO the choice of punching out a dealer is more along the lines of what a junkie would do irl. Someone who wanted to stay clean would just walk away and focus on helping others do the same.
