Keep up the good work! A bit selfish of me to say but please do whatever it takes to keep sound of mind and body so you can continue and finish the game. This game is a rare gem where the story is meaningful and the message is important. One that should get wider recognition in the general gaming world for its educational value. I genuinely wish we could live in a world where there is no stigma against AVN and more people can play and learn from this game.
I unironically play this for the story and really looking forward to guiding the protagonist to the successful conclusion of his 12-step program.
Yeah, not getting the movie references didn't really bother me - if it ever did I just googled it. Regardless, this is one of the best games on this site. Probably THE best that I'm not a patron of.

Hey, you can always watch the movies after you know where the quote is from, not only enjoy the AVN, also improve your culture. Even if end up not liking them, you learned something.

Ok, I'm really going back into hiding after this one. "You don't give us choices when it comes to the sex scenes". (I actually do in some of them). Yes, I give you choices, I give you choices about how you treat the girl based on her personality. So, you're choosing the whole game! If I didn't I'd get the perennial "Choices don't matter" comments (which I also get anyway). I wish there were an emoji for slamming your fist against the wall, because devs would use it! LOL Peace!

I try to play as a man slut and fuck all of them. I think the only girl not so far (besides the mom, which would be gross) not was the PO/therapist. Not sure if she was possible, but don't think so. It would be EXTREMELY inappropriate (and unethical on her part) were it to happen while she was overseeing him.
A lot of the songs from after about 1992 I didn't know, either. I don't really like much after then. Don't even like the "pop" music from the 80s until then. I was a metalhead in the 80s/early 90s. It's possible and IRL is would be extremely inappropriate, but you can indeed fuck her, and get a BJ from her. Gotta remember as realistic I'd like to make this it is a porn game, and she doesn't allow it until he's no longer reporting for probation. She also puts up a little fight against it and makes MC promise it won't interfere with their sessions. Best I could do and still make her a LI which I wanted to make her.

The whole Mark Arm thing that's in the game. Contrary to what people think I steal very little from my own experience and exactly translate it into the game, but the Mark Arm thing actually happened to me. The lead singer of Mudhoney. I know a guy who has a lot of contacts and I've met a lot of those musicians. Many are now dead as a direct result of the disease. Mark Arm is not however. Him and Eddie are about it. Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees sadly died from complications with Covid. But, he was sober as far as I know when he did. Got to have lunch with him one time, and I'll never forget it. He was the sweetest guy. Even paid for my buddies parking ticket on the way out!

I know someone it happened to and she was the therapist!
Where I worked quite a few female employees did that (and got fired, could have been charged.) If they are in any sort of custody, even if it's like a 20 year old female employee with say a 45 year old male inmate (or equivalent to "inmate" it's called "institutional sexual assault." I think I just didn't try to push it with her.

She was the couples therapist, while she was trying to mend their relationship, she got entangled with both of them. First the wife, then the husband. The wife couldn't stand it. She moved to another city, got the divorce, married a girl. The husband married the therapist. They are in a kind of polyamorous thing now.
Thinking about it, it would make a great fucking AVN. But, alas, it's 100% true as told to me by both. Funny thing, the first wife was a smokeshow, the kind of woman that stops traffic even on simple clothes. The therapist, well, the best I can say is that I would NEVER look at her twice. Short, plump, kinda ugly to be honest, with an incredibly annoying laughter that she uses way too often after just one beer. Yet... fuck, I dunno... Can't explain it.

Wow, that's crazy. It happens to the guy on the show In Treatment on HBO as well. If you've not watched that I highly recommend. It's got Gabriel Byrne. The first two seasons are great, I did not like the season they just came out with. But the first two seasons are like 2008, it might be three seasons. Here's what makes me sad about the internet y'all. Today has been very therapeutic by the way just to mention. But, some of the things that Walter Victor is talking about that people do on the internet. I'd never do personally.
It kind of makes me sad for humanity to be honest. Especially the hate raters that go around liking each other's posts, and continuing to follow threads of games they claim are terrible.
I've heard other developers in the developer forums speak on this. And, it just makes me sad. Why would those people want to do that? And, the only conclusion I can come to is what Walter said again. Because they can.
To me it's akin to someone who kicks a dog, to be honest. People that do that do it because they can. Anyone that has any ounce of humanity or a heart would never do anything like that.
If there's a game I don't like. I just move on, I don't see a reason to gut that person who spent countless hours of their lives creating it, with why I thought it was terrible. I just leave and move on. The only kind of reviews I give are positive ones. Now, I know a lot of people would disagree with that and they're entitled to. But, I just can't bring myself to give somebody a terrible review. Not that I write them now that I'm a developer anyway.
