Late-stage capitalism was coined by a German Economist around the turn of the 20th Century, and I think it was used it properly in this context.
But economics aside, good, fun story. The artwork is nicely done and her facial expressions are priceless. I am, however, a bit put out by having to wait until September '21 before I get to see Chapter 2... And to think I almost didn't D/L this. It's a gem.

Capitalism is flawed, duh. But users of the phrase "late stage capitalism" typical espouse socialism which is even more flawed and bankrupts nations and starves the population. Like holy fucking shit, man. I don't want to whore myself to bring a potato home to my family. Somebody is getting whored in either equation but paying the bills vs picking which kid to feed is two wholly different scenarios.
Instead of being so braindead as to start bitching about political matters or 'capitalism v socialism' on a porn site, how about focusing on the game itself.
Art's good enough to get me interested. I'll keep an eye on this one, but think I'll wait until it gets a tiny bit more content first.

, and the writing is by Bigg (him/he), or the person you'd support on the linked Patreon. I'm not really liking the story. It's not overly pretentious or anything (though it comes close sometimes), but the characters don't really seem to follow their own personalities and your choices mean nothing whatsoever. Your platonic friend literally throws away all of his dating non-no's once you spread your legs. Except for Jaqueline, I guess, whose trope is that she's horny and a single mother with student loans in a terrible capitalist society or something. Seems the next update isn't until September so meh. Either way, discovered a new artist to follow as I dig her art style.

Interesting game but of course I do I have few problems with it. First the choices, usually I have no problems with choices but if it doesn't lead any where it bothers me a lot since and in this VN the choices don't lead anywhere and have any important impact to the story. During once section of the VN three choices come up but nothing comes of it. Second problem is it can't tell if it is being a multi choice story or a Kinetic Novel. If am reading a Kinetic story I don't want to be bother with unimportant choices it just ruins the flow of the story. Developer you have to choice what you want with this a choice story or a Kinetic story. The whole story if fine but the choices just bother me a lot.

Just those samples on the OP thread alone make me believe this game would be good, so I'll bookmark and download to check out now

Just done with chapter 1, this game have lot of potential and the art style was great. Main character Jacqueline was interesting with being shy at first but later accept her need for sex, Roman was manly but understanding, the sex action feel very romantic and not overboard too lusty...for now
Too bad it look like we had to wait until September for chapter 2 to be release (which is 7 month later....damn) but consider how the story goes and I think chapter would be even longer and have more sex content in it, maybe it could be worth to wait until then?

Hey everyone! I'm the dev, been a lurker on these boards for a little while, I was actually planning on submitting the game myself but got beaten to the punch! I'm super stoked to see the nice things people are saying about it, thanks a ton for playing.
To respond to some other comments and feedback:
- the narrative's linear, so your choices are basically superficial flavoring - it's definitely more of the "novel" kinds of visual novel. I wanted to tell a focused story that didn't rely on making players grind or guess in order to access the sex scenes (two things that bug me when I'm playing porn games)
- there's a lot of F/F content planned with Jacqueline, the characters you meet in chapter 1, and with characters you'll meet in other chapters! Me & Pacha kind of like coming up with female characters a lot more than male ones. As I said above, the narrative's linear so you can't avoid the M/F content.
- the September 2021 date for chapter 2 is just a best guess; chapter 1 took about 7 months to make but that obviously involved a lot of pre-production, coming up with character designs, figuring out how to structure the story, etc. Since there's going to be so much less of that work to do on chapter 2, the time we save is going to be spent making chapter 2 longer than chapter 1, with more sex scenes. I'm basically working on the game in whatever hours I can scrounge together every week in between a full-time job and all that other adult bullshit, so that's why I'm trying to keep expectations reasonable for delivery dates.

Like I said in the game, we've already started on chapter 2 - Pacha's smashed out a ton of new sprites for Jacqueline already (Pacha's SO fast, it's honestly kind of a hassle having to keep creating new art asset lists for her) and I've got the basic story beats outlined. Also, sometime in the next couple weeks we'll be putting out a 1.1 version of chapter 1 with larger character sprites and some other small art tweaks.
I'll be keeping an eye on the thread so please let me know if you have questions or other feedback! Again, super stoked to see people playing the game!

Really? I felt the story was great, interesting setup that makes sense, and the characters, especially Jackie, are very well written with realistic (and funny) dialogues!
