That's the feeling I'm getting. My only very minor annoyance so far is how horny the MC is for Parker, when I as a player am completely indifferent to her sexually. There's a bit of a disconnect there, one certainly not unique to this game.

I have a suspicion that the MC doesn't have a choice when it comes to Parker being on his mind and his reaction to her. I suspect Parker isn't as "powerless" as most are assuming. That applies in game and with the reader. There are too many bread crumbs in the text to suggest that the MC's inner monologue about Parker and Riley at the start were "as he knew it" and not absolute facts.

Read that section a little more open minded to how it's worded and start paying attention to all the subtle mentions of Parker's influence on peoples state of mind and such. There are at least 20 such subtle hints that Parker can influence people and it's not just be showing her tits.
