Literally the only people MC has told are his three closest friends, and his two closest "family". That's hardly telling everyone. I'd truly feel sorry for MC if he couldn't even trust his closest friends and family with that info. Frankly, not telling them would feel like a breach of trust and likely just cause unnecessary drama when the truth eventually came out (and considering 4 of the 5 people he's told are main LIs, it'll eventually come out).

Evelyn is someone who's for years jumped into the bodies of others every time she sleeps and lives the day from their viewpoint. In the process experiencing a lot of various sexual acts but never doing anything herself until she finally has sex with the MC.

It makes perfect sense to me that once those brakes were off and she'd finally been given a chance to play around with someone in her own body that she'd want to try a lot of those things she experienced in her dreams as others. She didn't have a personality change, she simply suppressed those urges because she wanted to do those things with the MC, and he wasn't ready yet. Once he was, she finally let loose.

Now, he will be telling her (Marina) and Cat more about it next update, but they also literally just witness him use Emerald's power and somehow know what was going to happen in the bathroom. It's better to explain it to them and have them agree to keep quiet out of gratitude, than to leave them wondering and possibly gossiping.

Amazing what finally breaking down that wall between being friends and being lovers can do, eh? Calling her feelings for MC a crush is woefully underselling how strongly she felt. The floodgates are open and there's years of fantasies she's finally able to act on. It's definitely abrupt, but entirely believable given her history and power.

Funny how you mention MC being spineless, and then we he decides to intervene directly to help others, your argument is that he should have had a member of the Sisterhood (who you dislike) take care of it instead of risking himself. Especially since we don't actually know how strong the telekinetic guy's power actually is. Example: if he lifted Ruth off the ground, she couldn't do shit except flail in the air because she has no surface to use her super strength to push off of. And after the bar fight, Ruth even told him not to hold back on using his powers to defend himself or help others.

Eventually MC is going to have to start using these powers, unless your preference is for him to go hide somewhere and not actually use them to help others. That would be truly spineless.

Seems a little weird to call Evelyn a slut when she literally waited to only have sex with MC rather than other partners, and unless MC urges her to do otherwise will stay that way. A woman merely enjoying sex doesn't make her a slut.

Marina deduced he used Evelyn's power because she knows how his power works and that Evelyn planned to give it to MC, and it's wise to bring Cat into the loop for the reasons I mentioned earlier.

Neither of the two attempted rapists have any idea what MC's power actually is though, so they very well might just assume he has Emerald's power because that's the only one he used. And they're going to be at the Farm for quite some time, so aren't really a threat. And the Ruth covered for MC when the Principal came in, so he doesn't even know MC used Emerald's power.

Edit: What strikes me as particularly funny though is there probably isn't a single way this scene could have gone that would have satisfied everyone. If MC just relied on Ruth or the Sisterhood, there'd no doubt be people calling him a "weak simp of a man" again here. In my opinion, MC using one of his powers is a moderated approach. He could have gone in with both Emerald's blast and Moonsong's wolf, but he didn't. Because that would be unnecessary and definitely raise questions about how he had two of the Sisterhood's powers.

Because Marina is not stupid, she deduced Jack had Evelyn's power because of how he knew enough to come help her and Cat.
Plus the would be rapists are going to "the farm", no one will likely hear from them ever again.

Also JDOR has been very consistent into not turning Origin Story into a brainless fuckfest up until now (that is not the main theme of this game).

Before I touched on this point I wanted to check in game myself to get an accurate count.

I'd agree this isn't a brainless game, there seems to be a lot of thought put into the characters, their motivations, personalities and the overall plot.

But even though we seem to be still in the early stages of this game the MC has had sexual encounters with a lot of women. 11 already so far to be precise. Some even when first meeting them including Moonsong, Emerald, Isabella, Meredith and Sapphire . Others after knowing them a bit Amber, Anna, Arwen, Evelyn, Cat and Lucia .

That's getting action at a rate equal to most fuckfest games I've played, easily.

Which ties into my previous point about it being unlikely the MCs powers will become a problem as far as him having sex. This is a fuckfest, just one with a purpose. And that'd be completely disrupted if suddenly the MC can't fuck anyone but Ruth without risking hurting them. Especially in a harem game.

The Sisterhood figured it out without him telling them. There was zero chance of them not knowing when it was Moonsong that figured out his power.

The Principal was told by the Sisterhood, not MC.

And Marina found out when a high Ruth blabbed about MC sleeping with Emerald because he needed her power.

So none of those are instances where MC just told people because he wanted to.

To be fair, there's a difference between a fuckfest and a brainless fuckfest. Essentially all the sex has served another narrative or relationship purpose so far, and within the context of the story makes sense.

Yeah, and already pointed out in the very post you quoted that I agree this is not a brainless game. But I'd argue it is a fuckfest, simply one with a purpose.
