Not exactly like, but a really good one is Retrieving the Pastso is the game in "hold" ?and btw ,can u guys recommend similiar games to this?i really liked this one

Yes the game does have a romance route that corresponds with you choosing to be a kind and supportive Father in Claire's life.

Hmm , a long absence is never a good sign. I remember quite a few games where a "sickness" or other difficulties basically were the beginning of the end.
Still, it's hardly fair to judge the guy, he can't be blamed for other devs' behaviour, and that he put the payment on hold is definitely a good sign.
I must say I would miss the game. I rather enjoyed playing the "dark" path. Not many games (except mind control, which I don't like at all) let you play as a bad guy and none with this quality of writing.

I really don't get it. If he's having problems nobody would blame him for not working on the game. There's also no need for detailed explanation, nobody's interested in his private life nor has any right to know anything about it, just an update if he's working on the game or not. It's the decent thing to do really.

Well, Lack of communication, apologies and further delays. This is a pattern we already know from other devs who abandoned their games. =(
