Well sh*t... This is not a fun surprise. Our Fate was by far one of the better games out there, and the daughter was really beautiful.
Wish that devs who can't finish the projects would "pass the torch" so to speak, because this one if anything deservers to be finished. So close... But yet so far.

People put their hearts into these games they make and shit happens sometimes. Chances are, one day, he may come back and finish it but that can't happen if someone else ruins the story and they will because tit would never end how it should have with someone else doing it.

Fair point and you're probably right, but never say never, there are some great devs out there. Although, as far as Our Fate goes, I'd wager you're right, slim chance of anyone else finishing this game without messing it up.
The real diamond of this game is its story, so I think no one can continue it the way like CedSense does

Doesn't seem like it, they either been abandoned, still being created, or for whatever reason re-started from the start making it even longer wait.

They are all completed Ren'py games.
There are more in other engines but you aren't the first to say devs don't finish what they start but a lot do.

Hardly daft in any way. If a game gets abandoned one or two updates in, we aren't invested that much.
A game gets abandoned one or two updates before the end, we've already spent a lot of time with it, we've invested thoughts, time, possibly money into it, we are invested in the characters, we want to know how it ends, all that is within reach and then bam! it gets abandoned.
That certainly is worse than a game getting abandoned right after it started.
Your definition of silly seems silly.

How rude of the dev to not foresee his illness and abandon it near the start saving you precious time.
I think we should go one step further though. I think they should just not bother starting any games, that way you'll never lose out on anything.

WTF why its Abandoned its soon 1 year this may 2020 its will be 1 year that i wait for v 16 ... and now i just read that it been abandoned ... when you cant make a game by not moore idea or not money for it dont start 1 damn it i was like that game i waited just that moment when the guy and he's daughter or not depend the result of the adn test wil finally make love together and my last version was 15 15 e when they was go in the beach and now i cant have a suite of it cause its abandoned wtf i start to be pissed by guys who start games and not finish them before it was high Life what was abandoned now this 1 damn it at the end if you cant continu it give it to other peoples who can continu it after you come on ..... now i'm pissed by that !
