I gave up on this game because we were several versions in and the "adopted" daughter didn't so much as kiss, let alone flash a bit of boob at, the MC.
Have things changed yet or is it still in the "build-up" phase?

Update had another great sex scene with Grace who is quickly becoming my favourite and another attempt at rationalizing incest. 
But honestly, Claire is super sweet, but both Grace and Melinda are so interesting that I actually started a playthrough where was nothing but a good father for her and instead plan to divide into a path aiming for Grace and one aiming for Melinda.
The GF though... she has a nice body, but apart from that I basically share Melinda's opinion about her... see? I mean I already forgot her name and I just finished playing.

For me Cedsense is doing everything right. A relationship like that probably wouldn't develop that fast and he is always providing porn content with one of the other ladies.
I'm playing with Jensen as the real father, but I can kind of understand that one might hope for a faster development if Claire isn't his natural kid.
Everyone else is garnish while Claire is the main dish. I understand that you feel the other characters make up for lack of Claire content but, as it was initially presented, this game was about MC and Claire. It's the plot I was interested in. Everything else is just white noise.
For me, this game is simply going nowhere. If it is, I see no light yet and the end of this tunnel. Maybe Cedsense will eventually pay it off. Or maybe he'll suffer:
1. A Patreon strike
2. An illness
3. An unfortunate accident/death within his close family/friends
4. Lack of motivation
5. A hard-drive crash
6. Sudden lay-off at actual work or increased workload
...and this game goes fucking nowhere. It's not rare. I can literally name dozens of games on this website that fizzled out right as it was heading to something Even some (initially) very good games. It's also Cedsense's first game so you can't really point to any proven track record.

Well, the risk of games on patreon not getting finished is there, but I fail to see were that relates much to whether or not the story develops at a good pace or too slow.
I mean, we are already at the point were Jensen goes to a shrink to help him rationalize away his scruples.
It's a risk because this game has spent all this time building up to something. That said, I think pretty much all games with an emphasis on the build-up except for maybe Dreaming of Dana and Babysitter (still WIP) just died. Leaving a plot which you were invested in unresolved.

When stuff gets released early it takes money out of the creators pocket. The man comes up with a story, learns how to do everything it takes to create a VN and all the work that goes in into producing content month after month. He deserves the fruits of his labor. Cedsense is creating an actual novel here, it is a real story. It builds up slow just like a real novel. If all you are looking for is sex there are plenty of games/stories out there. If you want a real story Our Fate is a great story, with some pretty fine sex scenes. I am a supporter because I love what Cedsense has created here. I will continue my support even though this premature uploading is going on. I hope whoever is doing this will stop. Please

I can understand why you don't like the game, but I can't disagree more :coldsweat:
Probably your going fucking nowhere means no sex. Because every release the relationship between Clare and his father is progressing clearly. We are shaping her and it takes time.
Personally (because of course we are talking about personal taste) I think our fate is one of the best game here. It is building a good and "believable" story without lacking in sex scenes.
And IMHO your talking about the chance that the game will be abandoned is really unfair. This dev so far never skipped a release date and he delivered a lot of new content every time.

On the other hand there are several of them like Our Fate, Where the Heart Is, Life with Mary, Dating my Daughter, Melody and several others going strong with regular updates (even though of course like everybody I would love for DmD to update more often).
I'll be honest, I want the games I enjoy finished as much as you, but I'm not sure I wanted them to hurry through their story too fast, just to get there.

Exactly. I really appreciate how Cedsense develops the main relationship in a believable pace and with good writing, while taking care that there is porn in every update.

I would like to say to detractors open your eyes.This is a well thought out game (If you think you going to be banging your daughter in the 1st 5 min its not for you )
Thing that drew me to the game was the subtelness of it the way the back story has been moulded into the game with thought.The way you were drawn into a convo about your relationship with Susan .And the reporter wasn't bad in the sack either lol .But seriously a lot of thought has gone into the writing so far with the characters .Sammy Melinda Grace etc. And i hope it stays that way because for me it will be right up their as one of my top games.Just on story alone

It's not like there's any prove it's hurting the game. People who like the game and can support, will probably do it anyway.
All the games I'm supporting on patreon I've first downloaded here and many very successful games get shared instantly here.
With all the games currently being worked on, I won't mind waiting a week or two longer than the patreons, but I honestly don't think it costs the devs a lot of money when a game gets released here early.
Always the same story, useless secondary characters and just a few scenes with the daughter... please focus on the main path, as in DMD.
