Even just giving him a hobby would do him good. Eva did Robert so dirty early on as he was portrayed as someone with no hobbies and passions that even Lena isn't interested in him even if she wasn't seeing someone else like Ian. It's fine having a character be more like a tool but having Robert compete as a possible romantic interest just makes the audience lose interest in him. Make him a Formula 1 racer or something, at least Louise got that submissive bitch going for her.
I think it's mostly combination of being a creep who tries to use his superior position at work even if Lena is clearly not interested in him, and getting to see him as a douchebag loser on Ian side of the story. No hobby is going to rescue him from this first impression of pathetic sleaze.

Well, the real reason is that Eva seems to want to write characters that will stick around in the story, not hookups, but still, I like to puzzle out if there's a way to make these issues consistent with the in-story context.
Yeah, it's just a pity she's only managed to write one male option that fits that bill and he's the other main character. :geek:

It's a good thing that Mike might figure into Lena's music story though, he and Robert already felt tacked-on and now he's at least relevant for Lena's non-sexual pursuits so he's got more staying power when you don't fuck him. Robert is basically removed from the story entirely if you don't fuck him.

Yeah, this Baluart city they live in feels like a small artsy college town, especially since they have to travel for book conferences/fairs. It could explain why one man (Seymour) has such outsized power in the town, and why it feels like Lena has so few presented options for at least a casual hookup with an individual that doesn't immediately come across as questionable. Any reasonably sized city would have tons of options for a relatively outgoing and pretty girl like Lena, even if she had moderately high standards.

Well, the real reason is that Eva seems to want to write characters that will stick around in the story, not hookups, that fit a kink of some kind, but still, I like to puzzle out if there's a way to make these issues consistent with the in-story context.
And that is why on my game Lena will be pretty much a vagitarian and she will be eating Holly and Ivy.
The only cool guy is the male protagonist but Ian is occupied fucking his boss. :ROFLMAO:

Good catch, you can definitely play them that way. I had one night stand only characters in mind when I wrote that, like Mark in GGGB.

So i played this again after a year and had tons of fun like last time. And again i love the versatility of this game and that it has two protagonists which makes things interesting. Lena can go from talented song writer in love with her boyfriend to a cringy instagram whore jumping from cock to cock and doing drugs in club bathroom. Ian can go from a pathetic, needy cuck loser to someone even Jeremy would call a toxic womanizer or some shit. Or you can just roleplay them both as decent and flawed protagonists. Many different combos and everything is choice driven.

For a linear VN its extremely ambitious. No wonder it took a year to make just 2 chapters. Oh, well, i guess here is to another year of waiting lol.

I also like the tone of ORS. I struggle to find another good VN like this in the sea of generic, comedic small town date sims where some high schooler bangs his step sis\step mom and a bunch of other cardboard cutouts. While i tried Love and Sex Second Base and it was fun and non linear, the writing there pales in comparison and somewhat feels like porn parody. And the grindy nature of the game got on my nerves on the second run.

Maybe you fine people can suggest me something of quality? Preferably not daz3d and with male or multiple protags.

That's interesting to hear because if it's the case then it doesn't really show -- Robert's scenes are relatively few, and most of it is just copy/paste shared with other characters (Ian or Mike for sex scenes, Ian, Mike or even Stan for Stalkfap)
In Chapter 11 there is a Robert/Lena sex scene with a heart option. So don't count him out just yet.

Robert still is one of the only male love interests for Lena who isn't a proven cheater. If she was actually looking for a boyfriend he'd be like the second best option after Ian.

Lena's left hand would be literally better option than Robert. Also, if you are looking for boyfriends between non-cheaters then Stan is obvious candidate.

i've been looking too and i can't find any AVN games that are one, as erotic as this, but two, also has many paths that makes it actually interesting to play

You guys really think Marcel is going to fuck some of the girls?
I know hes on the gallery but still....
I think some people think that because in Evakiss previous games there are scenes where the protagonist do it with some artist's lackeys (one of whom who looks like marcel)

Ugh man I am so tempted to make multiple routes:

1. Lena x Seymour
2. Lena x Jeremy
3. Bimbo Lena x Ian
4. Fuckboy Ian x Lena
5. Ian x Cindy obviously

Gonna be a headache sorting all of these out

The fact that people hate so hard on this totally normie character is a testament to great writing.
Eh, i wouldn't go this far. I mean, it's not like it's hard to make a "normie" character unappealing -- that's exactly why bulk of them has difficulty getting laid in the first place.

Depends if this was Eva aimed when she created him. Particularly, Axel and Seymour are the testament of Eva's great writing in this game for: both are haterful af (and i know this because i hate both so much), but also intriguing.
EDIT: I also put Ivy with them. How we can't wrap our minds if she is a total snake bitch or just a free spirit with her own and strong views really show how deeper and complex she can be.
