About the Alisson situation (haven't played v8 or v9) but couldn't there be future scenes where Alisson talks to Ian about hooking up with Jacob on the trip? In the context Ian mostly focuses on Alisson.
I do agree that in an Alisson only route you should go with her on vacation but maybe she later regrets it saying that it was a mistake or something? Again I haven't played those scenes so don't really know how it went.

Sure, it will probably be up to the player to forgive her or not IF we ever find out if she went with them. I don't know if there would be any reason to not go with her, if one is fully committed to her, but to find out what she would do. As I said, maybe the dev missed that part of the story, who knows?
Yeah when I did the playthrough to check this, I found it interesting that Jeremy gives you this warning, but then you never get the phone call.
So there's definitely foreshadowing that he's going to move in on her, but the missing phone call seems to imply she doesn't take him -- this time.
It might be a dick move, but she's not cheating on him because they haven't defined a relationship.
From a woman's point of view, asking a man on that trip and getting shot down would be a devastating blow to her ego. For a woman like Alison, who is already insecure, calling another guy to go instead is definitely a realistic and in-character move.
Edit -- Turning down the trip can knock your relationship meter down from full to half. It's a big choice.
