one of the reasons this update takes longer is because most people want to play Ian and Lena paths in the same update. Eva had a poll to see if people want to just have Ian path in September (or August?). The complexity of this game is different from other games tho. It just has so many different combinations.

Hardly most people, that was a poll for patrons only and even among them there were many who wanted an early Ian release. I wrote it a couple posts above, that poll was Eva´s biggest mistake this year! You simply cannot let others dictate you your development cycles and updates by a minority. Closed Polls reach only few people and among those even less eligibles vote in the end. See my post 26.916, why I consider these polls cardinal development sins.

I also want Ian part to be released early, and I'm her patron. However, I really can't blame Eva for delaying it. Developers need to make their patrons happy because they pay the bill. I would do the same if I were in her position.

Can anyone confirm if the Alison bark sequence has been removed from the game. I have played the game a couple of times since the remaster and tried to trigger the segment in the scene but haven't been able to do so. Can anyone confirm if it has been removed or maybe guide me how to get the scene. Thanks.

You need 5 Lust and when she asks you if she is your favorite person you have to choose 'Yes, you are' and then 'You're such a slut'
There is also a walkthrough that should answer these questions.

20% patrons only wanted the Ian's part early. It might be different including pirates, but maybe not more than 50% imo. And Eva didn't want to release Ian's part only but was feeling pressured to do it so she made a poll. In your scenario Eva would release the update when it's ready with Ian and Eva parts without asking anyone.

How many of the patrons did actually vote in that poll? Normally and speaking with experience from other polls (not erotic game development), these closed polls are a "Mogelpackung"(eyewash). Only a small number of people are allowed to vote on a subject and of this small group only a minority does cast one at all. Oftentimes barely 20% of those allowed to vote in a specific poll do so. These polls are perfect to bend the numbers as you like them.
If Eva, as you said, did not want to post the Ian part individually in the first place, then that is her decision as the developer. No need for these Gewissensheftpflaster (difficult to translate roughly band-aid for your conscience).

You're right not all patrons voted, but it's on them. We can assume the result would be the same if everyone voted.

No. Be confrontational to her, write honest review (or swich with Holly), go to the office when Seymour visits. You need 5 Wits or Charisma.
Being confrontational early on isn't necessary. What's important is Ian writing an honest review or switching review with Holly.

And THIS is the mistake so many make! That assumption "the result would be the same" is plain wrong very often! I have a lot experience with polls and elections as one of the counters and/or election observers and it is insane, what reasons pop up why somebody voted as he/she did or did not vote at all. From on the fly over what weekday, simply forgotten, not interested to a sunny day and made a walk because of it, are just a couple of these.
While in general polls or elections with many voters this is not quite as strong due to the many people, there are still election-infringing effects that can change/turn a vote, which would otherwise have a different result. But as said, in large polls/elections this happens, but not too often. But in polls/eelctions with a small base of eligibles, you can weight the scales towards your favoured result if you are so inclined easily.

Probably due to the fact that this isn't actually a word [used by anybody outside your own walls] ;-)
Hey, that is an actual word! Remember that there is no single day without at least a dozen new German words invented!:) Part what makes this language so awesome is the ability to invent fitting words with ease.

Jup, can confirm. In our language, you can just combine words to create a new one for whatever purpose

Every patreon could vote, 1001 did, that is about half of them. 81% voted to not release Ian seperately.
As for your conscience band aid, EvaKiss decided to release Ians part seperately. She only put up the vote after in the comments patreons nearly unanimously disagreed with that.

That is quite good on numbers, but still just 50% at best. But the main point I made was not especially about that. One member above told me that Eva did not want to update the Ian part alone, which is seemingly wrong according you. Then my point about a conscience band aid stands! Eva is the developer and she decides what and when to release. Letting others overturn your decision on these basics is either overindulgence of the patrons at best and a serious cave-in at worst.
There is a fitting proverb about what too many cooks do to a meal.

ok i have a really weird question : does Eva get aroused when drawing hot illustrations ? or does the sheer amount of focus and stress prevent her from feeling that way ? do you think she flicks the bean everytime she works on the game ??
I guess it's like every other job which is related to sex. Most of the time (99%) not.
The crew of a pornshoot, for instance, usually don't walk around with a 24/7 hard-on and constantly wank off, while on the job.
Doesn't mean they get occasionally aroused, but i guess it's rare.

In another thread a Dev answered a similar question, and it was along the line (iirc): "Yes, occasionally, especially while brainstorming the plot and the scenes. However, during the actual work on them, no, because i am too focused to get aroused. It's a task that needs to be completed."

I'd say the ones that didn't vote would be happy either way, so their opinion barely matters anyway. Whenever there's a Patreon post, you get notified via an email even if you live under a rock. So it's not like the vote was a secret and went by the majority of the fanbase unnoticed... Those who wanted to vote, did.

Can't speak for Eva, but as for myself, once you start treating the game as "work", it doesn't feel the same... When your main focus is on consistency of the writing, gameplay, lack of bugs, etc. But I admit, when I imagine possible ways the story might go, then yeah, imagination makes it hot... But it usually happens when I just daydream, and not staring at the screen writing the guide or hunting the bugs.
