In real life? Absolutely. But in fiction, well... nobody wants to read about happy people. Conflict drives drama. So, a relationship with no potential tensions is happy if you can get it, but a slog to read about for long stretches. So, I get where that sentiment is coming from.

Couldn't agree more. A bit of an off-topic, but I was following one author on Literotica who wrote stories about polyamory, and while his first "Book" was very interesting because it had emotional conflicts and was focused on personal growth, his following books that happened after the change of status quo just introduced more and more random people to this ever-expanding relationship, the original secondary cast was sidelined and became just part of the background. Everyone talked about love for each other but it was never shown or tested. No new conflicts, no more challenges, etc and so it became a very boring series of "Who is going to join next?" and the main character turned into Gary Stu the sex god. But I digress. While it's okay to have some fun adventures together and not focus on drama and downsides that much, it shouldn't become boring after the relationship reaches its peak. If it doesn't add conflict, then at least something new needs to happen to shake things up a bit and keep it exciting. That's why I loved Jasmine's expansion in GGGB, because the threesome with her and Eric/Dave provides funny moments with them struggling to accept the situation and questioning their sexuality.

Just to put the record straight. Ryan starts as an office hookup and when he asks you to become his girlfriend the very next thing he asks you is to fuck one of his business partners. That also happens at the very end of the game.
So not exactly boring or a slog

But, indeed, once past a certain threshold in GGGB, the relationship choices are an emotional cakewalk. It would have been fun, for example, if Eva resisted Ashley's domineering or cheating.

(Thats why I like to play a goodish Ashley. Bad Ashley just annoys me always being so cold and mean. Also the outfits are hotter )

But, come on, GGGB gives the average soap opera a good run for drama. You have the dead character returning to life, multiple suicides, murders, drug deals, you can become a snitch for the police (kinda) assault, robbery, prostitution (kinda) and I haven't even mentioned Jasmine.

The big baddie in your profile provided a ton of drama to GGGB. There were plenty of negative consequences to your choices, you could destroy your relationships with people, destroy them emotionally or even make them kill themselves, there was drama between Jack and his brother, love triangles, family drama, etc etc. And Arthur was the meanest of the bunch.
I see choices on ORS having even more clear downsides to them. If you push for one girl, you lose another, if you try to fuck one, you'll destroy your relationship with your friend, Lena has to make compromises to make ends meet, work for Seymour (who looks to be the next Arthur), hook up with Robert or lose her job,choose to help the cafe owners and his parents, avoid her crazy exboyfriend...

As work continues with Chapter 6, I'm also tiding things up a bit around here. I know most of you don't know, but I had created a Discord channel a while back, but never really used it or linked it to Patreon... Well, now's time to bring it out the closet!

All patrons should have automatically joined and have an assigned role depending on their tier. We will create specific threads for patrons only, but anybody can join the Discord. It's often hard for me to devote time to these things, being always focused on working on the game itself, but I want to be more active and foster my community.

Hello! As I said on my previous post, I've been re-working some stuff on ORS and here's the result! Having some free time during September helped me see a few things that needed to be improved and tweaked to get a better and more polished product, and I want ORS to be the best it can be...
This means, as always, that there might be some problems moving forward if you use old save-files. I know it's annoying, but this is a work in progress, after all... You will be able to play chapter 6 with older saves, but is probable at some point you'll experience some minor bugs, or have problems accessing new scenes, so I'd recommend starting a fresh save at some point. I've tried to make starting over worth it, though...
So, what's new in the enhanced edition?

• Added cheat mode! When starting a new game, you can choose to start with every skill at 10 points, so you don't have to worry about missing skill-based branches.
• ANIMATIONS! I've been experimenting with the idea and implemented quite a few animations during sex scenes. It's a feature that has been really requested and I've decided to give it a try... They are just simple 2-frame animations, but it's the best I can do considering my work-load and schedule. I want to hear your opinion on them... Do you like them? Do you feel they add something of value and are they worth the time and effort needed to create them?
• I've added a couple things to strengthen the driving narrative of the story, making Ian and Lena's personal goals a bit more clear. Lena's situation at the café is also re-worked and better tied to the narrative and gameplay.
• I've added a few new interactions with Axel and Ivy that will open up interesting plot points in the future. Not including them felt like a missed opportunity.
• I've restructured Ian's training sessions to be more coherent. I dug myself in too deep giving the option to choose between two martial arts, but it's something I wanted to explore. Now the progression is clearer and makes more sense, and there's also a new goal related to that path of the game: an upcoming tournament!
• I'm reworking Robert scenes to make him more likeable. Don't worry, you'll still have the jerk you love to hate, if you don't correspond his advances. But I felt Lena had a lack of appealing options 5 chapters into the game, so I want to make Robert fun to pursue if you as a player are into it.
• There will also be a new naughty scene you'll see over the phone... Just make sure you're in good terms with Jeremy
• I'll implement a way to track the current day in game, so you always know where the scene you're playing is happening in the chronological order.
• I've also made some minor tweaks to some stats and restructured the way I compute the variables in the script, but that shouldn't concern you.
• Some other minor tweaks and re-writes I can't remember now, but most importantly...
• A character changed race
• Solved previously reported bugs and typos

I hope you enjoy the new version and keep supporting the game moving forward. It really means the world to me.

One thing that irks me about the game is that I see the term model being thrown around in the game alot. Like Lena for example is being labeled as a model, axel, and so forth. The problem is I see EvaKiss is not able to distinguish between real modeling and amateur modeling like the one you see in instagram. Even if you have a 100k follower in Insta as an instagram model real modeling is a totally different ball game. Real proffesional models would have sponsering modeling agencies that they sign contracts with (Elite modeling, Premier, Storm etc) similar to how proffesional football players have to sign contracts with football clubs. Those agencies would then make deals with luxury brands like prefume, designer clothing for promotion, advertisment and generating revenue. Talent finders of top modeling firms would go to different designer events to scout out and hire potential models etc. All of that is absent in the game, what we have is amatuer modeling for instagram and yet everyone in the game treats those wannabe models like real models?

I think it's pretty clear they are amateurs, I mean, they do some paid jobs with photographers so I guess that counts as being a professional model, even though you profession is not going so well. But you have a full conversation with Ivy explaining her plan to become a really successful or "pro" model, getting sponsorships and being signed up my a management firm and all that

I had a quick re-watch of the various MMF threesome scenes from GGGB. None them match this scene perfectly; the closest is the late game one with Tyrone and Jack/Jack's brother. I think it's a new image, designed to reference GGGB, rather than an updated image lifted from GGGB.
