For the love of... This game is dual protagonists.
No there's no choice planned, nor is there mods to play only one of them which would be stupid story wise since they are interconnected.
If you don't like the game's mechanic, then it's not for you. It's not that complicated. Plenty of other games to play around here.

I understand Eva wanting to do something different but to me this game should have been female protagonist only. Maybe there is some way to implement this into the game? That you could choose at the beginning of the game if you want to play as a male or female? That would be amazing
No, she already did that in GGGB, what makes this game different is Ian and also it’s something you didn’t see in the previous game and we have the opportunity to turn a "beta" male into an alpha male.

Yeah. It makes much more sense now. I wonder what will Jess's role be in ORS. How further could we could go with such a character? if she's gonna be a part of the game I expect even more perversions with Jess than we've already seen in GGGB.

I'm guessing Jess is going to be featured later on right?

Given that you can have a "good" and "bad" version available depending on your choices.

Is there a scene with Cherry in this Chapter ? I know I had sex with her in one of my saves but I get an error everytime I click on her name :/

There is, if I recall correctly, just the night before you have your date with Lena in this chapter, and ends up with her at Ian's place.

GGGB vs ORS: Cast

This is the final post I had planned in the series of articles about GGGB vs ORS. I've talked about many elements of what constitutes both games and my process on creating them, and last one is the cast of characters.

GGGB has a very large cast, so much so some of the characters had to fade on the background because I had no time or resources to keep them relevant in an ever more complex narrative. ORS isn’t exactly short on characters, but a lot more planning went into designing them and plotting their relationships and interactions between them.

GGGB’s characters are closer to the archetypes we easily recognize in contemporary media, and their main goal is to serve as a plot device for the player to play and explore. However, that’s only half the fun, and I always like to give some depth and entity to my characters. That’s especially interesting when said characters can be influenced by the player, transforming them in unexpected ways. So I couldn’t resist writing Jack to have a soft spot you could end up relating with, or giving Jessica a redemption arc through a wholesome lesbian relationship with Ashley.

ORS tries to make character’s personalities integral to the plot devices they represent. I want all of them to have their reasons, feelings and motivations to do what they do and be how they are, so you can understand them even if you don’t like them at all. They relate to each other without the player having to always be catalyst, and some dislike each other, or will form relationships with one another if left to their own devices (like Alison and Jeremy, for example). Those relationships between NPCs also affect the plot in an impactful way, like Louise’s and Jeremy’s relationship, that you can make or break as Lena, and depending on your choice more than a few things will change in the story... I’ve also tried to link those characters more clearly with the themes I wanted to explore, that way I feel all of them will be interesting, even if it’s for the wrong reasons...

Who were your favourite cast members from GGGB? Do you find any similarities between the casts of both games? And who do you relate to more, find more interesting or enjoyed interacting with more?

And did you find this series of articles interesting? Is anything else you'd like me to write about regarding game development? Let mew know in the comments!

Not exactly rape though (in terms of genre/tag, I'm not victim-blaming). In GGGB there are situations in which Ashley is not fully consensual (reluctant) but she agrees to do it either as a transaction (prostitution) or to comply with the blackmail. Both are shitty for Ash but the player has agency to back out. The only scenes which could constitute as rape with 0 choices are when either she or Iris is roofied by Arthur and can't resist him.
I'm not (and I'd imagine many users aren't) well versed in precise genre tag definitions; based on the brief explanation you provided here, I'm not at all clear on what determines rape vs.... I guess "blackmail sex"? In general and legal usage, blackmailing a woman into unwanted sexual activity would pretty comfortably qualify.

Providing the site definition, or a link to said, would be extremely helpful to avoid confusion and controversy. :)
