Can somebody explain what's the logic of picking cards for writing a book by Ian? I guess it must have a "right combination" to write the only one version of "good book" in game, and all other combinations are just "wrong" and leads to a "bad book", or what?
That would be very bad to happen. Having to pick just the right combination.

The obvious reason is to give you the player a choice in what kind of story you want Ian to write. Combinations might matter somewhat but I think your wits stat and how much you work on the book will be the biggest factors in it being a success or not. There's also a slim possibility that if you get in good with Seymour he'll push Ian's book regardless if it's great or not.

Me good with SayMore? Hmm, me hope that Ian could do nothing that good to please him. In terms of this game, where Good usually means Sex. And if Lena's "promotion actions" would be enough to make it so...

That already happening all the time in this game. Just like the game in pool inside this game. It also provided to a player 3 variations of shots, where 2 was wrong and 1 was right. The same logic with choosing 1 Lena's "right" picture for exibition. When i see 3 cards of writing a book - something makes me think about a pool and picture for exibition.

Lol, Axel has the stats of a god... Too much imo. Charisma 9? No way... I would accept 9 in athletics but not in other aspects...
I think Eva got bedazzled by her own creation there. Sometimes two IRL stats, looks & *confidence, fool some into thinking other stats are high, especially to those of the opposite sex. Axel probably represents the male ideal in her mind, at least as far as desirability is concerned, if not moral character.

*also partially derived from looks, but not consistently.

All I know is when I'm in shape, my worst jokes are somehow magically funnier to women.

Call me old-fashioned and chauvinistic but since I'm a man I will never have a female profile picture if I have one.
Even in video games like Skyrim, I never played a woman.
But shouldn't be disrespectful to women. I've always felt like a man (because I'm one too), real & virtual.
I respect women and I also know that they are superior to us men in certain things.

I don't think I have any objections to Axel's stats, but I absolutely see what you mean by "bedazzled by her own creation". And the way he's so clearly created to fit into that idea of a male ideal, without any noticeable flaws when it comes to looks or confidence, also makes him a bit boring, in a way.

To be fair, it's probably harder to showcase the characters' charisma than their lust/wits/athletics, and also more difficult than in most other story formats. In a movie it's obviously easy, and in a novel you have a lot more space to build complicated characters. In that sense I think it's understandable that someone's charisma in a porn game is simplified to traits like "extremely handsome", "dominating personality" or "very confident in approaching women".

I think you guys are missing something about Axel.
We the players, are aware of some of his (rather big) flaws.

But imagine being a girl (like Cindy) meeting him for the first time. Chances are you'd be in awe. Guy oozes confidance, sex appeal, charisma etc.

That he's manipulative and a cheating bastard prone to roïd rage only comes to play later, and by then for most, it's too late already.
