I think i wasn't very clear in my reply, but what i meant was, the way you originally wrote it it sounded like you were dismissing those advancements as something basically worthless, or at least not important enough to make that update seem as something worth the wait, or for it to be there at all. So, i was disagreeing with that apparent take that it wasn't important.
The thing is you have that threesome either with Perry or Wade and coming very much out of the blue, or with some complete rando(s). I don't view such development for the much-awaited MMF to become anything but just another source of whining and complaints, seeing how that's basically reaction to any side-characters, even if they're already established in EK's previous game.
In other words, whoever was hoping for that, if there actually was anyone who was hoping for that, they weren't thinking clearly.
Again, Lena/Emma was only started to be set up right before the beach trip. For this to escalate to immediate threesome with Ian included in the mix would be imo a whine bait on the level of "Lena fucks Jack as soon as he appears, muh immersionnnnn, it's ruined". Especially when, if i'm not mistaken, if Ian fucks Emma then Lena isn't even aware this is happening? I admit i'm not even sure if Ian/Emma isn't even mutually exclusive at this point. At the same time, i think while these scenarios are not quite Dubai-level silly, they're very much also not really something that most people who write in this thread were ever looking forward to in that update, and most of them are the opposite of those expectations. So, i think we'll have to agree to disagree -- none of that would imo make the beach event less of a turd, and if anything they'd probably make it more of something complained about.
Whoever came up with expectations for such scenes was setting themselves up for a disappointment, simple as that.
