In R9 the gallery has been remade so it will be easier to spot which CG you are missing.

It's eerie how similar the graphics of this game are to the dollmaker Kisekae. Still appreciate this though. Never watched Overlord yet, and they're clearly never going to actually show the Nsfw parts outside of doujins.
Oh, I was wondering if anyone had actually played this without being a fan of Overlord... Out of curiosity, how hard is it to follow the dialogue/what is going on without having watched any episode/read the LN?

I love the premise of this game, and the branching options alternative to the main storyline.
I have one complaint about the art.
While the shading and models are more than adequate, the lighting is bad. Bad lighting ruins even the best models. Whoever's doing the portraiture needs to needs to get into three-point lighting to really capture the details. And the CGs should have a more ambient "real room that real people would actually live in" kind of setup.

Characters have been redone (like most things) in R9.
As for CGs and stuff, it is unfortunately a workaround as I am limited by a quite weak machine, ideally I would do everything within Koikatsu but I have to split it between that and Unity and put everything together to avoid having too much geometry in a single place.
Of course the worst offender is exactly lighting and shadows, those can easily double draw calls.
Does any patron mind dropping build 9 or 8? The two past the current public one. If that is ok with the developer of course.

Not really readable, the questions in particular (instead of "?" behind "season" you should rather write "of", to make atleast a bit more sense), but here the answer:
As I know it there isn't a known release date for season 4 of the anime yet.
The novel (manga) comes first and is still in the works, I don't read it so I can't say how far it is. Though it is of course further than the last anime season since the anime is an adaption of the manga.
The novel goes waaaaaaay beyond Season 4.
The manga has about the same pacing as the anime give or take.

I found out about Overlord through porn doujins, read enough about it on wikias to fill in the rest. Episodes sound like they’re all just flashbacks of Momonga retelling what happened. Download crashed so haven’t played this yet, but I doubt I’d be confused. World Items are special enough to fight over, the game itself was a pay to win, and it’s only luck that he manages to get these rare items, like that wishing star or whatever.

As you can see Suzuki Satoru isn't Japanese man with black skin, but Japanese man with the usual for Japanese man skin color - white color.

This game is not 1:1 with the anime/ln, it would be pretty boring if it was.
Many things were changed... Albedo wings are more akin to the succubus wings in D&D, Victim is no longer a fetus, Nigredo got wings, Nigun is female and renamed to Neimel, and so on.
I like giving choices to the players: I had even thought of giving the possibility for Ainz to be female but had to drop this idea because that would have meant 4x the CG and twice as much dialogue.
However, when it comes to a simple choice of skin color it does not cost me anything to do 2x CGs if the player identifies better with a character whose skin is darker or just wants to see CGs with a dark skinned character.
If you want to stay more true to the lore, you can pick white skin and if later on you change your mind in the game, you will not be required to restart the game as the gallery (and in future the scene replay) shows both options.

Just curious ... got to the using the ring scene and Ainz mentions albedo telling demiurge to goto the entrance before ... how did he know Albedo was the one who told Demiurge to go there?
Also, after talking to Neuronist, i get the End of Build 4 thing, might want to remove it since were up to 7/8 now?

She is the overseer and she has been ordered by Ainz to put Nazarick on high alert, so it was an easy guess for him, although unexpected.
