So many of the games on this website have me skipping through the poorly written dialogue and stories, but this isn't one of them. I'm glad I found it, it's well written and the characters/art are attractive. Wholly recommend to anyone that might be on the fence about sinking their time into it.

Well said. Veronica's a great example for my part. Never cared for buff women, best case is they did nothing for me, worst case I'd be actively "ew"
While her model obviously doesn't cate to my tastes, at the end of the day I'm genuinely invested in her as a character, and actively want to go out of my way to help her, in a porn game, despite there not really being any physical attraction lol.
That's great writing right there.

well, mina has a stat called "bi-curious", so i guess it depends on that. the only point she got in it in my playthrough was when i let veronica concentrate on her during the workout in the gym. dunno if there are more ways to increase it as of yet.

IIRC there were options to increase it at the after party if you went with all of them and MC's birthday party with Hana. Not sure about the exact things you need to choose but the walkthrough listed in the OP should have them.

An opinion to HS graphic: it was initially one of the reason I was not initially attentive to the game.
Having tried the original Honey Select I was not appaled by it.
I found it visually stunning but not realistic at all, so I cannot get a feeling from it.
All characters seemed a copycat one of other,
In this PaCa was a definitive surprise: facial expression are much more individually characterized and in some case, notably Hana wowowowowowow!

As I recall, the Mina Bi-curious opportunities (thus far) are:
- The Afterparty with Felicia and Killian (make her kiss Felicia instead of the MC)
- The gym with Veronica (Take her to the gym, don't interrupt when Veronica is working Mina out)
- The MC's birthday game of Never Have I Ever (ask if anyone has performed oral sex on someone of the same gender)
Yeah, I explored all the options at the birthday party. I really liked both that scene and the drinking party scene early on in the game, with how many options they allowed you. Probably my favorite scenes in the game so far.
Get Hana to relay a past lesbian experience she had, and Mina will be all super into it.

We have a young, talented, highly intelligent student who has intriguing past and is given the opportunity to pursue his carnal desires in a secret brothel/sex club where he can either embrace his perverted tendencies or try and suppress them (which considering the nature of his job isn't easy). I would call him anything but dull or lame.

I'd say Felicia is about the only one that really neatly fits that bill of being weirdly interested, but even that's not quite true since she knows the player character is connected to the club from the beginning. Rosalind and Veronica are almost solely preoccupied with the contest at this stage of development and Mina and Hana's circumstances basically make the player character the right person at the right time.
Granted, that doesn't explain why YOU would ever want to play as a MC that you found dull and uninteresting.

Are you sure you are on the right thread? Pale Carnations is one of the few HS games with a relatively normal and decent looking MC. Most use the same two ugly default HS models. The devs here made the effort to make the MC look reasonable to match his character.
As for his personality, he has a lot more than most MCs in games here. Sunaboz summarized it well. He is a future medical student, that also has experience with women, and is looking for a job to make some money to save up for medical school. Now that he joined the club, as a player you can continue helping the women, while participating somewhat reluctantly, or give in to the MCs baser urges and let loose. If you find the MC boring, it is because of your own in-game choices.
