A quick question to people that actually know the devs or know about them. I get the distinct impression this is a jav game, or a western game done the jav way, if that makes sense. There are quite a few indications to that. I am curious if that is the case.

Edit: Looking back through the thread, I see the dev/devs are actually active. Sorry for missing that. Not a common occurence, though.

You're not far off base with the observation made in your review, to be honest. Most of my major influences are eroge. Primarily Sei Shoujo games like Starless, but also Black Lilith titles like Ochiru Hitozuma. Not to say I don't draw inspiration from western porn games, cause I definitely do, but my history with Japanese VNs predates the adult OELVN boom by a number of years, so that's what I lean most heavily on when I write.

All that to say... yes, I'm a weeb.

As of now, our release schedule is on a tentative basis. We're 707 images into the update, with the chapter two script being half the size of the first so far. It's hard to put a completion percentage on that due to the way GIL and myself co-ordinate.

Could be sooner rather than later, depending on how an upcoming patreon poll goes - full chapter releases vs 2 updates per chapter. If we go the latter route, it'll be one update for the first five days of a given chapter (individual content for the five heroines, plus other plot stuff) and another update for the big exhibition sex pervert stuff at the end of each week.

Sorry, no current plans for one at the moment.

Apart from not having the environment to test it in (nor the knowledge of what a proper android port entails), GIL and myself are focusing all our efforts on Chapter 2's contents.

Wow. Downloaded this around 4-5 hours ago and found myself invested in the story. It was good enogh that I felt compelled to leave a comment in the comment section which is rather rare for me. I also did a lot of saving and going back to see the other paths and options which is not something that happens often for me at all when playing games. I don't think I've seen this particular genre and scenario explored before with quality production. -To TD1900, you mentioned that you gained a lot of inspiration from eroge and as a fellow weeb and eroge consumer, I'd be interested in hearing some suggestions from you on some good eroge on more niche situations and genres like this game.
I had a good time playing Chapter 1 and I look forward to the next release!

Yesterday i tried all possible routes based on mc's traits and must say you spend a lot of time with this game
I didn't saw a game which one choice can drastically change all mc quotes and actions
You must spent much time making those female characters, all of them are awesome
Story is good, not too sweet not too bitter
I enjoyed your game really much and waiting for next version

TD1900 basically stated what was in the DD above but...

Dev Diary featured a poll asking patrons if they prefer half-chapter updates or full chapter updates. Full chapter won by a large margin. Dev says Chapter 2 will be longer and ready when its ready, (tho image-wise they are half done Ch.2) and to expect a total of five chapters each featuring an ending "event" such as the competition in Ch.1.

You can try using JoiPlay. That's what I use if I want to play on my phone. Performance is a bit better on compiled apks, but JoiPlay has the advantage of making the games moddable and easier to update if the game releases updates in the form of small patches and not the full file each time. And I don't have to wait for the android release of a game

Unfortunately I do not have the skills to produce the custom animations I would like to have for the game in a timely fashion, but we've made significant improvements to our frame-by-frame ones in chapter 2, doubling the frames, smoothing the transitions and making them loop. So far I'm very satisfied. Hopefully you will be too.

If I have enough time I will also revise the ch1 ones and try to improve them with this new method.
