I do wonder how much Chuck and August really know about the drug. Kathleen uses it openly in the competition so they can't be completely in the dark. Still I doubt Chuck realizes he's being manipulated by the perfume. And I agree yes she an interesting character. I was surprised that she has that high a position. I remember her being splayed out naked on a table during one of the events.
Kathleen implied August has no idea. He seems to take a more hands off aproach with the brothel, i guess he wants to look presentable to his daughter Hana.
Meanwhile Chuck may be aware of aphrodisiac drugs being used inside the club (but not the drug trials) because the old fucker loves to "taste" the employees.

Elias self-centeredness and narcissism gives him some blind spots but he isn't stupid. And he strickes me as someone with an iron grip on his finances. It's not uncommon for wives of rich people to be more involved in altruistic projects or start their on small business or brands under the umbrella of the husband. So she should have better options that the Carnations Club to get something going. That is unless Elias explicitly prevents that, which is what I'm guessing it is. So she has no other option to go behind his back and at that point it may as well be something illegal.
I find hard to believe a guy who is so enamored with the sound of his own voice to not realize his wife is getting a orgasm a meter away from him have a tight control over his finances. He strikes me as someone who pay others to do it while inflating his own ego for having the genial idea of delegating the job.:ROFLMAO:

I don't really like how comically obnoxious he comes across, probably as an attempt at absolving Fel and the MC of their various transgressions.

Ian seems like a much more compelling "antagonist".
Do u mean love rival? Because Ian isn't on the level of antagonist and probably never will be. Chuck is. And Kathleen. And doctor van Doom or whatever.

Being a multi-millionnaire, having a trophy wife and multiples mistress, not sure how anything like that will be change on a major scale if the trophy wife advertise her deprave sex life. The guy will still be a multi-millionnaire, still have is trophy wife and still fuck who ever he want. He could just drop her a find someone else to be be is new trophy wife... no big deal here.

Beta simp : a guy who cant get girls, there's no men in that game that fit that description at all....

The husband already know that his trophy wife fuck around, just doesn't know the extent of it. By whoring herself, what do you mean? She propose to pay the mc for sex, this is exactly the reverse of being a whore.

Participating in carnation could be viewed has being a whore(exchanging sex to get something in return), but being a trophy wife is exactly the same. So if you are ok with the concept of trophy wife, you should be ok with the concept of the carnation too.

Self-respect over money? I suppose you have the same analysis for the husband that decided to do nothing to save a school that helped a lot of children just because of money? If he had an once of empathy he would have give the pocket change required to help the scool to stay open, but he choose his money.

Felicia isn't a good wife(doh), the husband isn't a good husband, but the husband is clearly a worst human being than Felicia. Felicia is able to have empathy and care for someone else than herself, even people that are not related to her.

The husband, he's pretty much the stereotype of the selfish megalomaniac businessman.
I advice you to play the game again. : Off-course her husband want another pussy but while her husband was praising her wife falica
(DEV : he intensely put out these words : Mc's inner thought :( Falica's husband adore her and he believes that too ) He believes in what he is saying about falica. )

It has been put out multiple times BY MC, INNER THOUGHTS, BY FELICA HERSELF AND ACCEPTED : SHE IS A GOLD DIGGING WHORE WITH MORAL(very few), END OF STORY.

If you don't believe that, play undated again : Mc regarding falica situation : If everything got ruined in her life there is no else but herself to blame.(It has been said over and over !)

Beta simp :  If you don't what have been said or for who specially you should stay out of conversation, HINT : It was not for game character. Read the following comments.(after the comment you replied ! (y))

Falica : I new my place. (she know what she is, Only people with delusion, have not accepted it in this thread here ! )
MC to Falica : 3 times he said to her : she is a whore !
Mc's inner taught : If this didn't work out she have her self to blame on one else.
Mc's to Falica : She is dumb.
Bottom line is : SHE IS A GOLD DIGGING WHORE WITH MORAL(very few) END OF STORY.

Well, at least it explains why Felicia isn't into him and why she's doing what she's doing. If he was a loving husband she wouldn't be in it in the first place. BTW, Elias' character has been hinted much earlier so it should come as no surprise that he's a douchebag with inflated ego.

Anyway, I liked dialogues (and monologues/inner thoughts) during that interview, maybe some of them were a bit of a cliche but that's exactly how I imagine such wealthy people behave.

I was actually worried it might come across like that, so much so that I almost did the opposites and scale back on his personality out of interest of making for for a more compelling dynamic.

Truthfully, it wasn't done to justify the player character's actions. He's like that simply because I had a lot of fun with his exaggerated qualities and that was just how he naturally came out.

Aren't they still developing the original, or nah?
No, fidless and his new writing partner moved onto the refine version, which shares some similarities but is a fresh story with both old and new characters. I encourage everyone here to check it out if like like brothel settings or management games. I personally think it's one of the most polished western adult games visually speaking and the writing is quality.

Abhishek_tanwar you forgot to switch account to inevitableandinfinity8

It's amazing how two different accounts seem to "like" each other (not just in this thread either) with the same way of typing (random sentences in bold, plus random colon), same typo (Falica), and more importantly seemingly to reply as Abhishek_tanwar to a post that quoted inevitableandinfinity8 post as if it's directed to Abhishek_tanwar

I played it, it was good, but I would say that your writing is better. Refined gave the impression of writer trying little bit too hard to establish new style and distinguish himself from previous instalment. You guys, on the other hand, have a good sense of measure, its colorful, but not over the top (which is important to me). I'd say that only Selebus has more engaging style, but it's also tad convoluted and over the top.

Sierra Lee, who has a few projects under her belt, is also worth a mentioning. The writing in The Last Sovereign is the perfect example of letting your setting, themes, and characters speak for themselves in my opinion. It all feels very natural.

In hindsight, I don't think my complaint made much sense. Ian is a fairly important recurring support character, Fel's husband is an accessory to Fel's characterisation. It makes sense to treat him like an elaborate prop.
