Nothing but respect to GIL and TD for their second exhibition update!

That being said, I left this update feeling just a bit disappointed at the lack of kinkiness within the events. It all struck me as just a bit...tame? I feel like the activities within this update were on par with exhibition #1, and with this being the second, I suppose I was expecting the ante to be upped considerably. Perhaps this is just a byproduct of playing the updates in isolation, without replaying the whole game each time a new release comes out...maybe they would have felt more weighty in that case?

In terms of length of update, no complaints. I know someone here is going to bitch about how long it took for one night of content...but when the numbers are crunched, this is your biggest update yet, so no issues in regards to length.
The animations and renders were ultra smooth and detailed, big kudos to you guys for the technical aspect. Very beautiful looking update! Also, I feel like the character tones were well handled this update (as usual), which is a big reason PC is one of my favorite VNs.

All in all, good work on Ch3Up4, GIL and TD! You all are the dynamic duo... just without the campy tights... right?!

Crazy how perception can differ. I'm not impressionable by any means, but everything Veronica kind of fucked me up this update. Shit was bad before but it all still fairly felt like shit and giggles; what happened with her, the shower and her feelings after, felt like perhaps the first example of forced prostitution and straight up rape in the game. Wilted me out, ngl. Kathleen must fall (from the stage and break her neck).

That's where I struggle. I want to play the MC as being true to himself, and he explicitly considers many of the affectionate actions as hollow gestures given the circumstances, e.g. his little inner monologue leading up to Veronica's friendship scene. On the other hand, it's possible for him to want to help the women without pretending to an empathy he doesn't feel.

So yeah, I'm playing this weirdly altruistic sadist, which may not be the optimal strategy if you want to game the numbers.

Think of it as Dexter, definetely psycho but overall ruled by a sketch of a moral compass Or at least that's how my newest main run is, 'cause fuck not comforting Veronica

I'm usually not found of the 'pimp' kind of story, but here each character has a very compelling story.

I'm not looking for sadism especially, but the whole game is about this and the corruption of that poor boy.
If a game starts with some quite hard shit then gives up about this to go into a path where the MC who is supposed to get corrupted evolves to a very nice guy, there is a reason to be disapointed in some way.
And speaking of corruption of the MC, i think it's really not going this way, the more the game advances, the more the MC start to criticise and refuse to be corrupted. It's quite a nice guy and i like him and i love some girls and i would like to help them but i think it would completely evade the main goal.
I don't know what will come next, i don't dislike this game, but it feels like it doesn't really follow the same direction as in the beginning.

Does anyone know the correct choices for the latest exhibition?

I've had one playthrough where rosalind wins and veronica loses, and another where all three girls get a vote so nobody wins. Just curious because Im not sure what caused this outcome.

Feels like something's gonna happen though. Nothing sexual between two, although Edwyn def has some oedipus shit going on, but the end of the update if he goes to her place tells me the compass' about to point south

Be interesting to see if there'll be the option to set her up with Ian. I won't in a million years because he's a pathetic dumbass and i don't like him, and i don't even mean it as an outright insult just what he is, but it does seem like she's the one woman he has some respect for. Probably gonna react even worse than Edwyn ever did to the porn revelation.

I'm still playing through the update, but I followed a walkthrough pretty closely for this playthrough from the beginning and went for Veronica from the start. I've just reached the point where you can try to comfort her after she showers, and I'm quite saddened to find that 21 affection isn't enough. I know I missed a point or two as I tried to juggle what my version of the mc would do with maximizing veronica affection gains, but it seemed like the two of them had a very solid and friendly rapport leading up to this. I can't have missed more than a handful of points, so it seems like the margin for error is just a little too tight imo.

First of all my genuine praise and compliments for this game, not only the first and only game I felt I had to make a post on my porn website throwaway account to give a glowing review for but also to support on Patreon. One of the few times I've felt the creators genuinely deserved credit for their efforts and I've Kickstarted a lot of shitty games. Not since Pathfinder Kingmaker have I been so quick to jump on the crowdfunding train to support the next efforts - this game deserves it.

Ah, yeah. I went around and around on what number would be appropriate there. It can be hard to get a good feel of what is reasonably achievable in a blind play through (which is usually my aim for these things) given all the options in the game.

The magic number for the hug is 22.
I'd be interested in hearing how many other people found that threshold prohibitively too high.

I think the Rosalind one might be a bit high too. Easy if you don't take advantage of her at the very start, but otherwise i found it unreachable.

I got 30 with Veronica (not sure what is the max) by the time of the second weekend event and while Rosalind's threshold is higher i think she also has more affection points to win.
Just Edwin being decent with them and will get you a lot of points. Also try reloading the saves if you are unsure which is the best option during dialogue choices.

Ian seems to trully regard Victoria as a mother figure, even more than his own mom.
He might become quite torn if he ever find out about her previous job as a pornstar between his motherly view of Victoria and Chuck's view of "all women are whores".
I think this may be the type of revelation that will break or fix him.
