Posted in a thread which has an actual history of battling false accusations, on a website where a loud, zealotry group congests every single game discussion with their hatred for a specific genre, and aren't ashamed to even leave one star reviews for games they arbitrarily deem heretic?
Let me tell you, i am sick and tired of people dropping into a thread just to leave a single line of crap and try to get away retroactively with "Chill bro, just a joke bro...". Wedging the nerds is only fun for those bullying jocks and the joke therein is one-sided.

If this was meant as a joke it fell flat, because not everyone actually knows of Lykanz' history of posting very heavy context dependent "jokes" in this thread. And stirring up another shitstorm just for some laughs is commonly known as trolling.

You and Lykanz as fellow game creators should know how sensitive this issue is handled by a sadly too big part of the players base and how easily a game gets targeted for it these days. We can already -in my opinion- observe a considerable decline in the variety of genres, and there are more than one players of PC, which initially were appalled by some of its tags only to find a great game after they were lured in by being carefully encouraged to try it nonetheless.
It's easy nowadays to scare away a lot of people from a game, and given its supporter numbers PC is still nowhere it should be.
So posting ambigous, easy to misunderstand "jokes" in anothers creators thread can also be read as an attempt to hurt the competition. Especially if said developers' game obviously tries to accommodate a demographic which isn't keen on encountering content which his "joke" insinuates may be present in this one.

So can we never ever again joke about this matter?
Of course not, but in my opinion it's a difference if a 'nobody' posts something or if the same post is done by a person which a) has a considerable social reach and b) may have an ulterior motive to do so.

On a second note, as you should know, it's not always possible to express an argument or idea in one short paragraph; since you also felt compelled to react to mere single line statements or questions posted in your game thread with multiple sentences and/or paragraphs from your side on more than one occasion. Although i have to admit, you generally keep your answers shorter than i do.

We pretty much talk everyday, so I can confirm he intended it as a joke void of ulterior motive. I appreciate where you were coming from though, since my gut reaction to anyone who who has the word cuck loaded into their daily vernacular and then uses it unironically is to also ridicule them, but I'd love if we could just attribute the misunderstanding to the pitfall of online communication and end the discussion there.
