As I mentioned in an earlier post, the house girls are "August´s territory" and he runs it like a business. He doesn´t care what the girls are up to in their freetime as long as they deliver when on the clock. And those house girls who do not work off debts, they can leave employ in the club when they want. That is a non-issue. Darius and Isla are a special case, since he tried to blackmail Kathleen. And we know how Kath is.

It's a yes AND a no type situation
while August doesn't play mind games like kathleen
he does run the entire operation like the typical "pimp" he would definitely be bothered if the girls are messing with eachother on "his" time
so jacob and Emma being a thing would definitely bother august but kathleen doesn't care

infact she doesn't care as long as it doesn't pique her curiosity or messes with her games/schemes
same reason she turns a blind eye to whatever warren is upto on "company time"
even though she is aware of everything she doesn't care most of the time
for example she knows that Emma and Jacob are a thing yet she hasn't acted on it yet
meanwhile she has been involved in pushing harper and lucy together so that she could keep lucy around and firmly under her control
and that's why I said kathy is trying to angle the MC towards Hana/Sophie

she would know and she would definitely try pretending as if it wouldn't bother her

But there is nothing in Hana's presented personality that would imply she is incapable of having romantic feelings for more than one person (something people often don't even consider as an option, having been raised on the stock idea how you are only supposed to have feelings for one partner. Until it happens to them.) And having feelings for more than one person is not "corruption", but something that simply happens to regular people, ones who never placed a foot in a secret sex club.

I see your push direction and I never said that people are incapable of having feelings for several people, as you seem to think. It is simply that the whole complex of the game hints towards no longterm throuples.

Agreed on August being a typical pimp, but I doubt him being bothered by the Emma/Jacob relationship. We know from Hana that August regularly checks the security recordings. Emma and Jacob appear together in those quite often. Even Edwin, who rarely looks at the security feed, already saw the two couplely together in it.
August does not come across like an idiot, so he must know about their thing, since he watches the security recordings far more often than e.g. Edwin does.
I think August is not bothered by this relationship because Emma and Jacob are always there at work, unlike Kimber or Darius and Isla were.
