I was a few releases behind, finally caught up. A few thoughts.

We make fun of Rose's romance novel's flowery language then this line is put out there...
screenshot0001.png

...that is the same word we made fun of before.

Is it NTR, seeing MC's mom's casting video, even if the MC deletes that stuff at the end? If so, not cool for us NTR haters.

My MC(me), Mina and Hana throuple looks more promising with Mina and Hana discussing the possibility plus their kiss.

soooo...I would like to get everyone's reasoning on which Carnation that they would like to see win? in my lowly opinion Rosa is there because she has no other choice. I don't know what the developers have in mund going forward but although I adore Mina and Hana I would love the opportunity to be able to choose Rosa at the end
I do think Rosie's debt is too small for her to be as desperate as portrayed. I know they gave her a line about it might as well be a million, but it's only 20 something grand. Since she is prepared to do anything, she could make that in a fairly short time as a high end escort on weekends with no need to submit to the degradatio of the carnation showcase. Certainly fast enough to keep the loan shark off her back. It should have been 10x to 200k. That's much more firmly in no other possible option.

Depending on choices, either Ian or Felicia can give Rosie 5 grand (20% of her debt) like it's nothing. Why isn't she looking to make a side deal with Felicia to drop out or throw the contest or with Ian to be a toy for a few months? 200k would make side deals based on Rosie's help a lot less possible (unless TD is leaving that possibility open?)

Actually, poking around more thoroughly, I think Fapparition might be right. The dialog tracks with Hana kissing the MC, but the flag checked (w3MinaRockShowKiss) is from Mina being kissed (which has a whole bunch of separate requirements). Maybe this is checking the wrong variable?
I guess that answers it.

But just to make things crystal clear. No, in this save I'm not on Hana's path, like at all

But I'm on Mina's path
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

At the show I fully focus my choices on Mina until I get the scene with her upstairs. Then we have 2 sequential choises
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
with 3 possible outcomes:
  1. Fuck it! => Now, lets cheer for Hana.
  2. Fuck it! => Take Mina to the bar.
  3. Caution, Edwin. Caution. => [no 2nd choice]
First and third choices bring Edwin to the stage, where he sings, nothing more. When we get this scene
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
if Edwin was on the stage (1, 3 choices) Hana and Jerrica will comment about it
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
BUT only the 1st choice adds additional dialog which starts with
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

So, I assume, the additional dialog uses flags like "kissed Mina" and "went on stage" to trigger where it should uses "kissed Mina" and "kissed Hana" instead.

P.S. I see you there TD, liking the comments :illuminati: . It seems you have a minor bug to fix :HideThePain:

If it weren't for Hana and Mina, would this game have produced a healthy, normal relationship?

All three contestants are very beautiful and mature women, but is it possible to have a long-term relationship with them?

One is married to a rich man, the other is a widow and a mother who is very devoted to her child, the other is in love with the gym...

Don't attack me, of course, I don't know where the game will take us...

Only Hana and Mina seem more logical than all the other women in the game... For a healthy relationship...

With all the baggage we are all carrying from the club, neither girl is more qualified for "healthy, normal relationship" than others maybe even our shared experiences in the club may help create the relationship in the future...
Even someone like Mina who has been outside the club for now will probably find out at some point and will be inevitably involved somehow.

Not a chance. As TD1900 mentioned several pages ago, every single character in this story is a collection of walking red flags. IMO, Mina is the only one who is even mostly normal and comparatively not fucked up in the head. I don't think there's any way these particular characters -- especially in these particular circumstances -- could ever have a prayer of a normal, healthy relationship. Not without a whole lot of therapy.

The only waifu material in this game is Victoria and she is not a love interest for Edwin lol. Every other love interest has baggage. Whether it be August as a father or going behind your bros back to get his (ex) girl. All are messy. Any healthy person would of cut and run anyone associated with club.
Man, you are telling us that

- your widowed mother who is a retired pornstar ----> would be OK as a love interest, she's "waifu material",

BUUUUUT

- going behind your bro to get his ex ------> is not OK, she is not "waifu material", she's messy.

Vic is alright, Mina is messy. Your mom is ok, your bro's ex is not ok.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIGHT

Some players still think that everything is going to be all right, after all, in the end.

Could you believe it? :coffee:

In a week? how could it possibly happen in a week?

Hard to say how, I just have the feeling she will find out before the story ends at least I would be surprised if by the end of Pale Carnations Mina still knew absolutely nothing about the club specially when they almost let it slide in front of her last chapter

Why not? How the thing could be terribly wrong, in a relationship with a gold digger, whit the manipulative mother of your friend, with a prostitute, with the manipulative manager of a brothel, with the daughter of a gangster (daughter who is also stockholder of that brothel), with a girl who aspire to become a living sex toy…? Naaaa! Everything will be totally fine.

If you ascribe to modern definitions of what a "healthy, normal relationship" is, then no, none of the possible relationships would qualify.

Whether those definitions touch everyday reality in any way whatsoever...

Some things have to be right in the end. This narrative have been going for four years and will continue for a couple more at this rate. You don't string people along with the promise of "a flower of romance" for that long, only to turn around and tell them they should have paid more attention because it was all just a Greek tragedy in disguise and they really should have seen the wall everyone crashes into coming from behind the cutie patootie sex freak's humongous ass.

Most sane woman in the game is Kathleen, she is the one who looked in the mirror and accepted what she saw. :illuminati:
Maybe Mina will come to this with her list. You don't have to like it, but the others can't even look into the mirror.
So your definition of "sane" covers a true sociopath sadist that ruins the lives of people who she's supposed to protect? She may be the least conflicted person in the game, but hardly sanest.

"In a world of insane people, the only sane is the insane."
So yes, Kathleen is sane, but not because she is actually sane. Because everyone is totally insane.

Well, that's why I wrote everything. Somehow, some things is not everything.

I never thought the authors promised any "flower of romance" for a single second. If it's a flower, well... it's a poisonous plant.

She is the most insane of all, next to Warren.

She protects herself, and her husband (probably). No one else should expect her protection. Carnations are the mice for her cat play and for added benefits, she shows the game to rich pervert men.
