Guys, I’ve got a question for you. So in the latest update, depending on our choices, there were sex scenes with Sophia and Allison. Those scenes also happened on the HanaGF path, and Edwin didn’t even mention Hana, not even in his thoughts. Didn’t that feel kinda weird to you too? I don’t remember the exact terms of the deal Edwin and Hana made before getting into a relationship, do you think these scenes fall under the umbrella of “club business”?

What confused me was the fact that, before these scenes, even when Edwin did something as minor as drinking from Dalia’s chest, he was already thinking about how he’d explain it to Hana. So during the Sophia/Allison scenes, I started wondering if I’d messed something up, especially since I’ve been messing around with URM a lot while playing. So what do you guys think? Is it a case of “what happens in the Carnation Club stays in the Carnation Club”? I guess I’ll have to replay the game soon, ‘cause I seem to have forgotten some pretty important stuff like the details of Edwin and Hana’s deal.

Well, according to the deal Hana and our hero did, "fun" outside the club or deeply club-related business is a no-go. So sexual stuff on a Carnation evening in the club is less of a problem, even if Edwin thinks about how to explain it to Hana.
Additionally, the choice Sophia, Allison or no one is important for you further way in the game. It impacts your general stance towards the club and what it represents. And it clearly should be a decision independent of who your LI is.

Nah at a certain point, I just thought people got the gist of it. I worried that having Edwin think "what about Hana" for the millionth time is too repetitive.

I do think there's like a line somewhere where Edwin inwardly questions the unclear boundaries of what "at the club" means, but I'm not sure if that's locked into any certain path or not. Lotta balls to juggle. Probably is.

Given that it is happening in the club and during a Carnation evening, I doubt that the situation is this clear cut. Hana knows at least partially what goes on during an exhibition evening, how perverted it can become, so it is rather improbable that she would see the Allison/Sophia event as cheating.
Outside their fucked up workplace, this is different. For example, "Having fun" with Rosi at your home is clearly cheating.

Very much agree with you and wrote similarly in my post above. The Allison/Sophia choice will not be problematic as long as it stays the exception rather than the rule. This evening Edwin can explain with a group pressure/having to cater to the whims of the important guests mix, even to himself if he wants to.
I think Hana would see it like that too, as long as it stays an exception due to circumstances.

Generally I think it is better to be FwB with Hana if you are not 100% commited on her route. Because for instance if you have high points with Sophia, them having sex during the orgy and the talk afterwards shows some growing closeness and budding relationship.
It is pretty clear that e.g. Sophia meant her job proposal earnestly, but her social skills are mostly rudimentary so far. She wanted our hero closer to her, not recognising that "cleaning the beakers" would be misunderstood by most people.

It would be very interesting to know who says this sentence! Depending on which character says this, it could give insights into some developments. It makes a difference if it is a comment by August, Edwin, Abel, Sophia, Kath or even Hana. I doubt it is from Chuck or Warren, who are very much staus quo towards the club. Even Kath is less likely, since she is working behind the scenes for such a "shake up" to occur and she has burned any bridges she had with Felicia and the stunt she pulled.

I think the comment aligns with Chuck quite well actually. He strikes me as someone who'd genuinely let a woman like Fel rock the boat if he ever felt the club no longer served his particular brand of hedonism well enough.

It can't really be August, he's a businessman, and so not interested in instability. It can't be Kath for obvious reason. None of the regular patrons seem to pay any attention to the plumbing, so to speak. Abel wouldn't care. It's not the kind of thing that would come out of Hana's mouth.

It really sounds like something either Chuck or Sophia would say.

Well, since TD liked your comment, I guess this is the way. Now that I think about it, even though months pass between updates for us, how long has it been since Hana and Edwin started dating in-game? Two weeks? They're still super fresh, it's perfectly normal that the boundaries aren't entirely clear yet. And the environment they're in is honestly extraordinary. It’s obviously not going to be easy for two people in their early 20s to try and build a relationship under these conditions.


I normally don't care much about AVN characters, but Hana really stood out to me. I genuinely like her, so I end up obsessing over little details like this. Anyway, thanks for your insights, guys! Thanks to Turret too (idk how to quote more than one person lol)

Yes and no. Yes because Chuck has taken a liking to Felicia, so it could be him who said the sentence. No because both Kath and August lament that chuck wants his club exactly the way he likes it, with no changes, making it more difficult for them with the day-to-day business, esp. for August. He wants more security beyond Warren and Jacob, but Chuck blocks it.

Before the current update, I would also have dismissed August as a potential sayer, but he is clearly displeased with what happens at the club now.

I could be Sophia, if it is part of the plan to keep the club going after taking over.
