Quite literally "with friends like this, who needs enemies".At least i love and accept her, that what matter right?![]()
In place of a Dark Lord, you would have a queen! Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Treacherous as the sea! Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me, and despair!Just the sight of this made ... my heart start pounding.
...
Incredible job, devs. I mean that sincerely.
Less rings of power, more overpowering rings. In place of a Dark Lord, you would have a queen! Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Treacherous as the sea! Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me, and despair!

Fixed.Less rings of power, moreoverpoweringcock rings.
That's a shitty laptop if some video feed eats 40% CPU, 77% Mem.
Green Tan lines requires more processing power plus whatever crypto mining software Kat has installed. That's a shitty laptop if some video feed eats 40% CPU, 77% Mem.
As TD said, it's s slow week numbers wise, but we all know how distracting it can get around the holidays - be that baking cookies or looting gifts without alerting the zombie hordes. The important point is that TD and GIL have averaged roughly 30 statics images, 4.5 animations and 789 words per week since the last dev diary. Overall they are have averaged ~48 statics, 2.9 animations and 908 words per week since the estimated start of work on Chapter 4 Update 7. Here are the charts for Week 9:View attachment 5528707
Dev Diary 106
Hello all, TD here, coming at you with an early dev diary since we’d like to hold onto our Christmas bonus image for the day itself. So:
All told the next update sits at 435 images, 26 animations, and 8,168 words.
That is +60 images, +9 animations, and +1,490 words over the past two weeks.
On paper, a bit of a lackluster report, but challenges have been figured out and met in that time. Those 9 animations hold a deceptive amount of work.
OhAndThenThereWasBuild42MultiplayerGettingAbruptlyReleasedfForProjectZomboidAFewDaysAgoButLet’sNotTalkAbout.
We have finished what I’m calling the first “leg” of the night and are breaking ground on the next one (some of the exhibition’s progression is tied together across distinct scenes so I wouldn’t exactly call this next part “game 2”). The end is not yet in our sight, be we remain so fucking excited to get to it. I tease out the ending in the shower like every morning, running through dialogue, sussing out specific details and the implications. It’s the kind of plot point that reinvigorates an old love for your own story.
Anyway, I hope you all have a merry Christmas, happy holidays, or just a generally good month. Be happy and safe, and thank you all so much for your support.
Insightful analysis as always. I was under the initial assumption that uptick in animations & lower word count most likely meant our MC was more of an observer in these events, and the action spoke louder than words.By historical standards the update is off to a slow start on Static Images and Words, though it's doing fairly well on animations. Presumably most of that is a result of increasingly complex pathing as we get to the crux of the Exhibition that forms a pivotal point of the story.
Maybe that's CPU and memory on the NVR or the camera itself. That's a shitty laptop if some video feed eats 40% CPU, 77% Mem.
gotta be an internal video card. That's a shitty laptop if some video feed eats 40% CPU, 77% Mem.
probably the software have multiple camera feed in it.That's a shitty laptop if some video feed eats 40% CPU, 77% Mem.
Probably running Crysis on full graphics in the background. Oh Warren. That's a shitty laptop if some video feed eats 40% CPU, 77% Mem.
