Serzri, a Dravir (a dragonoid)

While bouncing around on my Twitter account (it's Twitter, not X :devilish:), I found a wonderful idea for a character by pic of a . So, after doing a lot of searching for a Daz3D model to base this one on and then making some modifications, I came up with this:

I made the censored one for my development wiki site on Fandom. They REALLY have a problem with genitalia.

As you can see, Serzri does not look like the dragonoid in Leo's pic, I am going to have Iona, the transwoman/femboi co-protagonist in Pangaia Hinxworth, service the dravir in an oral fashion.

Game is on hold

A major piece of bad news. At the end of the month, I will be moving to a room and board, and I can take ONLY ONE suitcase with me.

Please excuse my panic attack mood I'm buried within.

You would think, in the 21st century, in the richest country in history and California holding the 5th largest economy in the world, an elderly, disabled individual whose sole low income is from Social Security, could spend over two and a half months looking for a new apartment only to fail miserably.

I will, of course, go into vacation mode since I see no reason why my subscribers should pay me for no work being done on Pangaia Hinxworth.

Hopefully, it will not take long before I can move to a low-income apartment. We will see.

I have found out that the massive amount of notes I have compiled on Fandom has been closed. I have not had any communication telling me about this closure, either before or after.

I have not worked on Fandom for over three, if not four, months due to the damn IRL issues I've been going through.

My guess, since I have had the site open for almost a decade, I believe that either someone from this site or one other after posting this game with the link to the Fandom site.

I am trying to get the html files (the pix I have on my desktop in storage) so I can rebuild the game information. If I cannot, then I will be forced to abandon this game. Since I have been working on building the information for over a decade, this abandonment may be permanent.

Here is hoping I will get those files. :cry:

I have recently acquired the textual information I have been working on over a decade on Pangaia in the form on an XML file 82mbs in size. o_O

It will take bit of work pulling the data out and transferring it to a workable format. Something I'd be doing now, but, due to my current living conditions, this damn tablet does not allow me the data manipulation skills needed.

But, the good news is, I have the text and images needed to work on the game. Now to get a new apartment with my desktop computer I'll be up and running on all cylinders.

Unhold date approaching soon


The reunification between me and my desktop will take place after the 3rd of next month. :LOL: Catching a flight to PA on the 3rd, Having my stuff shipped same day-ish (not sure when it will be sent, but they will have the funds).

I'll get back on the proverbial horse as soon as I get the system set up in my new home. Cannot say how long it will take since I will be extracting the textual info that was in my Fandom development site from the XML file, and the remaining renders of the prologue, dialogues, etcetera.

Looking forwards to this with great anticipation.

Moved to PA, waiting for stuff to be delivered

Been here in Pennsylvania for a week, and I'm waiting for my stuff to been sent to us. The person who is taking care of that has some IRL issues himself so w he has yet to ship them.

Still twitching with my missing computer but less so now that most of the hurdles are behind me.

Hopefully the next devlog will be made on my desktop as I will be working on the game once more. :cool:

Yes, my computer and other stuff has FINALLY been shipped, and should be here between the 8th to 13th of the month.

Still suffering from major twitching, mind you, but happy has hell seeing the end of my separation from my loving computer!

Once I get my system up and running I'll post to you guys.

Extended hold time

Well a bunch of things happened since last post... Some under my control, most not. These are listed in no order.
Took FOREVER for the people in charge of shipping my stuff from SoCal to PA.
When they finally made it here, I found out BOTH of my monitors were damaged beyond repair.
Since I live on social security, I waited till I could afford a new monitor along with a desk and chair which were purposely left on CA.
Finally received everything, assembled the chair and began putting the desk together, but due to my disabity I soon realized I needed help.
Tomorrow my brother will help me get the desk put together.
Getting my system up and running should be a breeze, so I may be posting from my PC, not this damn tablet.
OK, I lied. The above items are chronologically in order.

By the way, my SunscribeStar account no longer exists. Kinda know why, and if so, out is my fault. Later, I will look into reactivating it in the future.

So, of all goes according to plan (right, according to plan? ), I may be back to working on the game tomorrow night!

Here's hoping.

Game Development vs Disability


I would be deep in my dev work on the game if it were not for my disability. The desk is half built waiting for my body to not hurt where I can complete the construction of said desk. The steps are straight forward and simple. Hopefully my body will feel better next couple of days allowing me to finish the desk and assemble the computer.

You have no idea how I am twitching to return to work on my game. ‍

Desk is assembled, computer is assembled save for KB and mouse

I have my desk assembled (neighbor came over and finished it for this poor disabled person ). I began to build my computer to find out I do not have a KB or mouse. ‍♂

Yep. I packed everything but the KB and mouse. So I visited an infamous online store purchasing one KB and mouse which I paid bit for shipping so it will arrive Wednesday. Tomorrow I have a doc's appointment so no delivery then.

So, goddesses willing, I'll be back to working on the game Wednesday afternoon or evening after MONTHS not having my computer.

D'oh!


Reinstalling Daz3D for the past couple of days . I could NOT figure out why it was taking this long, but then I remembered. Showing solidarity for Canada, I changed my VPN to Canada. I cannot recall what inspired that move but there you go. Once I changed it back to the local VPN site, what do you know, the speed increased dramatically. :LOL:

Sooo, I'll be back sooner than later with my devving progress.

Downloading appropriate assets, relearning some of Daz3D, and more...

I had thought I would be much further than I am, but with all the downloading, relearning, and IRL issues I have been facing, I found myself a wee bit behind schedule.

Where am I in development?
  • I have SOOO many assets for Daz3D from several websites, plus assets I am trying out before purchasing. Loading the scene I was working on took me a while to figure out what was needed, locating the assets, etc.
  • Began viewing some of the last images I had completed before my living situation crumbled about a year ago, and found a problem in the arrival of the beasts. I started with the first images, having them teleport individually, then I had portals open up. Love the portals, sooo. I will be redoing those.
  • As mentioned earlier, Fandom pulled my Rycharde's Realm site, leaving me with a 10MB XML file. So, acquiring the appropriate data and building the most basic website will be available only for me has been a bit of a chore. This info is needed for me to keep a semblance of believability in this game.
  • I've been working on the codex in the game. Is this worth the effort? So far, I think it is. I'll probably post a poll after I have a few versions (chapters) out there. We will see.
I'm not listing the IRL issues, of course, but there are a few that have been pissing me off. *sigh*

My apologies for the extremely long hold on Pangaia Hinxworth, but I am alive and kicking. I am working on the next release, though I have no idea when that will be.

To give myself a bit of a break, I thought up a new creature I may use sometime in the future: a slime-girl. This is an early WIP version.

Started rendering, again

As I'm FINALLY working on renders for the last half of the prologue, I've noticed a small problem: I may have to re-render a couple of images. I will add lighting to a few renders if I determine they are needed. I'm on a razor-thin cord as I figure out the solution to this conundrum. To help me with this, send word whether images like the one below are good or enhance them with more lights?
(Notice the blood around the sword.)

Yeah it's kind of hard to make things out. I'd increase the brightness but add light sources to the scene. Unless it's meant to be an isolated area with no light sources then the brightness shouldn't be too bright.

It is in an abandoned mine/city at the outer gate. No one will enter the city; it is just the main site for the prologue and a few scenes in the first chapter. There are large braziers that light up the area, and an active volcano in the chasm. It's meant to be dark, but I will add some extra lighting.

I was leaning toward adding more lights. Just needed to get some outside coercion. :cool:

Oh an active volcano sounds interesting. Will you add light to the lava or show the braziers glowing in the background for the scenes. I look forward to seeing how you tackle this.
