Yes that's correct actually, the one you quoted is more recent (but the content of the zombie wave game is the same, it just includes the Fan Patch 7)

Will the mod's 0.4 update be released? The zombie waves were a great addition, and I'm really looking forward to the next update

You can't merge data.win files, only modders can.

Basically, you just need to replace the "Data win." file in the original with the modified one you downloaded from the mod link here.

You need to first complete the game normally and then there will be a "?????" button on bottom left. I guess that part is not too clear
