Oh, this is nice. Would love if this could be added in-game. Maybe when grabbed at low HP, or at high/max Lust? (When the thing turns flashing red and yellow.)

Wouldn't mind seeing similar consensual animations for other enemies. :sneaky:

Thanks for the feedback! I'm most likely going to add a timer component to melee as well and slow the zombie swipe down. If you hit the melee button at the right time, you stun the zombie and can do two additional quick hits. This makes melee less repetitive and skilled players can quickly get through a zombie. The counter attack system can still remain for players who mess up the timing.
Very good, I like the idea of being able to quickly get past an enemy, because in many games the only thing you can do is attack, walk back, and repeat until the enemy is dead

I'm curious what you guys think about this melee system. Wanted to make melee difficult but not impossible. It works as a 'Counter Attack' combat design. If you simply run into the zombie, you will get hit. If you try to run past the zombie, you will also get hit. You have to bait out the first attack and then go back in and hit it. The melee cooldown is 1 second, so you have to repeat this movement until it's dead. Let me know your ideas! Melee is a pain point. This looks really good! I like the idea so far, though in some ways I'd also say the bait and attack combo is also quite easy. Perhaps, if there is going to be a stamina cost, there could be other options or interactions, like a stun or knockdown for the enemy which could also help deal with hordes.

Maybe if the player has an option to hit again in quick succession, which requires good timing but can knock the zombie down. This opens the zombie to being finished on the floor, but also means that other zombies might trip over it if done well, making melee a viable option to at least slow hordes, if the player is desparate.

Zombie grapples would be a good thing too. Perhaps a quicker attack, where it lunges at the player. It is harder to dodge but if you melee it it will knock the zombie down and make it easy to finish. If it grabs the player they will have a short struggle window before it pins the MC down and fucks her. If she gets grabbed and there's other zombies nearby, they can pull her into a 2 or 3 zombie sex attack.

Just ideas. This is very promising so far!

I'm making a new PC game on Unity Engine. Not a mod at all, I'm doing everything from scratch, but I am re-using sprites and sounds whenever I can. (Not going to have any of the sex animations from the original game though)

Sign me the eff up. The original is one of my all time favourites - any additional content is just the icing on the cake!

Will you be doing more enemy types? Is there a Patreon or Itch.io or blog that we can follow your progress updates for this remake of Parasite in City? What are your overall plans for this remake?

Thank you for the support! I'll be posting any relevant content here. My goal for the initial release is at least one stage with new enemies. I intend on making the game into an actual horror game and not so much an action shooter (though there will be satisfying gunplay) Im most likely going to hold off on showing the sex animations so there's a surprise during gameplay :)

I understand. Let me tell you, you're on the right track, as the animations look quite good, and I appreciate you showing the progress here. I'm looking forward to playing it; we really want to help. Do you have Pixix? We'll support you because it's truly appreciated to have something new from Parasite in City. And, so to speak, how far along is the game in development? Could we consider it to be just starting, halfway through, or nearing completion?

That sounds great, but what you mentioned raised another question for me. So, your version of the game won't be hentai or won't have sex scenes? Because, well, I appreciate and don't deny the amazing progress of your game, but Parasite in City is known for its sexual content. But hey, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself; maybe you have a surprise in store for us.
