It seems to me one of the main pain points of a sequel/remake is the fact that developers seem keen on changing her outfit. This comes with many drawbacks, most of all not being able to re-use portions of the original sprites. You're essentially re-doing all of the sprites from scratch.

You can see here that if you keep the same outfit, you only have to do a portion of the animations and can keep the rest.

I wish there was a sequel that was still active. I remember there being one, but last I checked the blog it was a while since the developer posted anything.

Best we can hope for is a remake using the newer game engines, and then being able to mod the heck out of it. That, and we need more enemy types/animations!!

If there's a way to mod Parasite in City, we can make a sequel here.

Adding newly drawn animations with existing enemies (not reusing bits from existing sprites) to the current game is the most achievable goal and valueable contribution imo.

With the mods that some users here have made, we know the potential that something like this has.

The truth is I don't know how many people see this message, but I would be willing to fund something for parasite in city, a mod that adds more things or new sprites, and I say fund, you know, to provide motivation, because, from the mods that have been released here it seems that there is potential to add things even if they are small things, but it really has potential, since they fixed the sounds, fixed bugs, added a level where you have to survive and added a new animation to the facehuggerbig, I have seen that it has potential, and really, I have wanted new things for parasite in city because this game is very good, I know that you know it too, we must not forget this game.

Will the mod's 0.4 update be released? The zombie waves were a great addition, and I'm really looking forward to the next update :) (y)
